In the Buld Reality

In a previous Reality, the Ekcolir Reality, Assignment: Earth was a television program in the 1970s. Most of the episodes were set on Earth during the 70s but sometimes viewers got a glimpse of other planets, particularly the one where Gary Seven was trained for his work as an Interventionist agent.

In the Buld Reality, the universe as we know it, Assignment: Tar'tron is a story-within-a-story that comprises part of Exode.

Selfies on Tar'tron

The show's first episode follows Gary Seven and Roberta Lincoln as they retire from their work on Earth and return to Gary's house on the planet where Gary was born. They are surprised when they receive visitors: two young people who look exactly like Gary and Roberta used to look in the year 1970! Their house guests turn out to be nanorobotic "copies" Gary and Roberta, artificial lifeforms that have their memories, yet are unique individuals.

A mission that only a Selfie could love.....
.....or survive

The Selfies of Gary and Roberta are sent back to Earth in order to help during First Contact when the Buld spaceship reaches Earth. After the Buld depart from Earth, much of the story arc involves episodes that take place on other planets including Tar'tron.

Isis is revealed to be a Grendel, an artificial life form designed and created by the Nereids. Isis is on a mission to contact Gohrlay and confirm that the Trysta-Grean Pact was truly a negotiated settlement to end the Time War and does not constitute a violation of the Rules of Intervention.
