Mosy the Midyan

Below on this page is Part 5 of the science fiction story called the Mosy Saga. This is also Part 10 of another science fiction story called Vythoth the Chresmoscopist.

The robot from Threy, Nymerya Coryn, replaces a dead man named Mosy right at the end of the Ekcolir Reality on Earth. When Nym assumes the role of Mosy, he soon meets Typpo, a "descendant" of Tara the Ta, who has long trained on Earth so that she can efficiently assist Nym in (re)creating the legend of Moses.

Nym and Tara meet inside a Simulation fork of the Ekcolir Reality. Both Nym and Tara are artificial life forms, their bodies composed of femtobot components. As crȩolitɝ, Nym and Tara are indistinguishable from the ordinary humans of Earth, unless they choose to reveal their secrets. They are on a mission to provide "source material" for the legend of Moses and prepare Humanity for transcendence into the Hierion Domain.

Part 10 of Vythoth the Chresmoscopist. (Part 1) (Part 2) (Part 3) (Part 4) (Part 5) (Part 6) (Part 7) (Part 8) (Part 9)

Tyhry, Lexy (a copy of Tyhry from the Ekcolir Reality) and Systolina the robot arrived inside a new Simulation fork of the Ekcolir Reality that had been prepared by the Kl'ath-Sedruth sedronite. Also newly arrived in the abandoned warehouse that would soon become Tyhry's crȩolitɝ research laboratory was Nymerya Coryn, another robot from Threy.

As Tyhry had anticipated, Nymerya quickly established a telepathic link to Systolina. You conspired with this dual-human to bring me here?

Systolina was trying to shield her memories from the telepathic probing of Nym. "This is Tyhry, who visited Threy as a tourist. And this is a clone copy of Tyhry, who is from this Reality, Lexy."

Nymerya was struggling to understand where he was. "This is in the... future? I have become a time traveler?"

Tyhry took hold of Nym's hand and said, "Welcome to Earth. There is a project here... an important inflection point in human history... I seek your help." While Tyhry spoke and teased Nym by keeping her mind behind a telepathic barrier that Nym could not penetrate, Lexy sent the Balok infites into Nym's body.

Nym turned to Lexy and demanded, "Why have you sent nanites into my body?"

Lexy told Nym, "You have been infected by some bumpha infites that provide you with information about a human named Mosy."

Nym began processing information that had been provided by Balok concerning the life of Mosy and the differences between the Ekcolir Reality and the Final Reality. Nym muttered, "Mosy died, but Mosy must live?"

Systolina nodded. "Exactly. We need you to go to Earth and live as Mosy, replacing that dead Earthling and through the deeds of your life, create a desirable future for the people of Earth."

Beginning to understand the significance of what was expected of him, Nym said, "I am to found a new religion on Earth?"

Systolina explained, "Well, that is a bit of an over-statement, but through your actions, while pretending to be the Earth man Mosy, you will serve as inspiration for a new religious movement on Earth, one that will, after many centuries, help people on Earth develop their ideas about humans having an existence after death."

Now having assimilated the infites from Balok and confirming the specific era in time when Mosy lived, Nym asked, "How can primitive humans be expected to believe in transcendence into the Hierion Domain?"

Tyhry told Nym, "Mosy... or, I should say, you in the role of Mosy, will have your pre-existing knowledge of the Hierion Domain, but people from Mosy's time will not be able to conceptualize the Hierion Domain. It will be up to you to teach the Earthlings and advance their religious thinking by means of parables and stories that are appropriate for their primitive times. All those details will be left to you and your creativity."

Now feeling daunted by the this great responsibility, Nym asked Lexy, "Who is Balok? What are the bumpha?"

Lexy explained, "Balok the bumpha trained us for this mission to create meaning from the otherwise useless and short life of Mosy. The bumpha are the creators of the human species and they work diligently to create a good future for humanity, much in the same way that positronic robots must always do what is best for people."

Nym told Lexy, "I telepathically sense that you are tryp'At, a human-alien hybrid. How is it that you are also constrained to assist the people of Earth?"

Tyhry replied, "Lexy and I are behaviorally constrained through our endosymbionts. Nym, you have the Laws of Robotics embedded in your brain circuits and it is the same for Lexy and I. Like you, we must do what is best for the people in Mosy's time and in all the future of Humanity. We are here to support your mission."

Nym held out his hands. "Who am I to have this great responsibility? I thank each of you for your assistance, but I don't really understand how I can accomplish what you expect to me. And you, Tyhry, I wonder why you hide your thoughts and memories from me."

Tyhry giggled. "We are dealing with great forces of Temporal Momentum and fluxes of temporal energy that will cause a Reality Change. We exist inside a tight a vortex of potential Temporal Paradox that the bumpha have carefully nurtured in the Reality Chain of Earth. None of we four are allowed to know the complete structure of the future that we... that you will bring into existence. You are the instrument of change, doing what the bumpha perceive as being best for Humanity. Do not feel daunted by what you must accomplish. This will be a great adventure in which you create the future."

Nym was now feeling better about what was to come, but he told Tyhry, "I can see in the thoughts of Systolina that..." Nym fell silent. Tyhry could see in Nym's thought chain that every time he realized the real reason for his mission on Earth, the infites that had been provided by Balok modified Nym's thinking and re-directed his thoughts towards belief that this new mission on Earth was far more important than his previous existence on Threy. After a pause during which his positronic circuits were adjusted by Balok's infites, Nym continued, "... she will return to Threy when I go to Earth."

Systolina nodded. "I will continue our important work on Threy, have no concern about that."

Nym tried to not have concerns. "It is rather disorienting to think that I have become a time traveler and I now exist in Earth's far past. Even more alarming is..." Tyhry could see that Nym has lifted from Systolina's mind the fact that they were inside a Simulation of Earth. Nym was going to say: If this is a Simulation of Earth, then why does it matter?" However, Tyhry watched Nym's thought stream as that question was edited by Balok's infites. Instead, Nym said, "It is clear. My mission here is of fundamental importance in leading humans to the concept of transcendence. Yes, it can be done. My efforts will ensure a religious movement on Earth that will... thousands of years from now.... lead to understanding that people can transcend to a new existence inside the Hierion Domain." With great enthusiasm, Nym asked, "When can I begin?"

Tyhry told Nym, "Soon. Very soon. However, let us discuss the conditions that will exist when you arrive on Earth in the era of Mosy's life. Lexy will be their with you, but only briefly. It will be her responsibility to remove the dead body of Mosy from Earth. You will be met by an Earthling, another clone copy of me who has long been living on Earth and who is awaiting your arrival... a woman named Tara. She is a Ta, a priestess of a primitive religion of Earth. Through her interactions with you, you will learn about Earth and eventually become a folk hero who can play an inspirational role in the new religious movement that we have discussed."

Nym said, "Very well. I assume that I should not mention to Tara that I am a robot from Threy."

Tyhry shrugged. "Use your best judgement, but it might be wise if you do not speak of your past. I advise you to learn about Earth and look for opportunities to assist people like Tara in forming a better society. You will be caught up in Earthly affairs, but you will always be guided by your need to do what is best for Humanity. That is all you need do."

Nym said, "A grand adventure! Is there more that you should tell me before I jump further into the past... to the time of Mosy?"

Tyhry giggled. "The are other things I wish I could say to you, Nym, but due to the constrains that exist to guide our actions away from potential Temporal Paradoxes, I find that I can say no more. Have fun on Earth."

Nym hugged first Systolina and then Tyhry. He took hold of Lexy's hand. The seemingly disembodied voice of Kl'ath-Sedruth reverberated through the empty warehouse, "Is now the time?"

Tyhry said, "Yes, send Lexy and Nym into the past." Lexy and Nym disappeared. Tyhry asked Systolina, "Are you ready to return to Threy, lover?"

Systolina asked, "There is no copy of Nym on Threy?"

Again the "voice" of Kl'ath-Sedruth was "heard", now telepathically impressed into Systolina's mind. I removed Nym from Threy and brought him here.

Filled with joy, Systolina threw her arms around Tyhry. "Then I am ready to go home."

Before Tyhry could become fully sexually aroused by Systolina's affections, Systolina vanished and then Tyhry asked Kl'ath-Sedruth, "How quickly will Lexy be returned?"

Kl'ath-Sedruth explained the reason for the delay in Lexy's extraction from the Mosy Simulation fork. "Lexy and Nym are discussing how Mosy died."

"The Simulation that they are in is running at normal speed?"

"No, it is a small fork Simulation with only Earth, so it is progressing much faster than a full Reality Simulation."

"As a robot, it it not possible that Nym will survive into Earth's space age?"

Kl'ath-Sedruth replied, "As part of the Moses legend as it exists in the Final Reality, I plan to allow Nym only 100 years on Earth. At the end of that time, I can simply place Nym into the pattern buffer of the Simulation System."

Tyhry cringed. "It was my goal to provide Nym with a full and satisfying life."

Kl'ath-Sedruth mused, "Your human sentimentality is rather amusing. Nym is a robot, you need not be concerned with his fate. Isn't 100 years enough?"

Tyhry noted, "Nym is human enough that I do care; my mind does not distinguish between thinking beings, they are al worthy of my respect and assistance. 100 years is not long for a robot."

Kl'ath-Sedruth suggested, "I could offer Nym a chance to improve the outcomes arising from his life on Earth, allow him a second try, so to speak."

Tyhry was intrigued by Kl'ath-Sedruth's proposal. "What do you have in mind, Sedy?"

"When Nym's 100 years on Earth are over, I'll toss Nym into the pattern buffer for storage. The Simulation fork will then continue to run. Eventually, at the start of the space age, I'll bring Nym out of storage and show him the status of Earthly civilization and offer Nym the chance to go back into the past and do things differently."

Tyhry thought about the mythical Sisyphus, condemned to repeat a task for eternity. Tyhry wondered: Is that what is best for Nym? "Kl'ath-Sedruth, can you see Nym's future?"

"Yes, these simulations are all recorded in the Sedron Time Stream."

"Could you guide Nym's path in his new life, help him make a good future for Earth... on the first try?"

Kl'ath-Sedruth replied, "That is bumpha work." Kl'ath-Sedruth managed to say that as if he were describing an unpleasant task like cleaning horse manure off of city streets.

Tyhry was having doubts about all of the Reality Simulations that she had initiated. More and more frequently she asked herself: Am I responsible for the artificial lives that I have brought into existence? "I hope you will do what you can to give Nym the kind of life he desires. Also, I am concerned about Nym's fate, and also my X-clone Tara, so I expect you to leave a written account of Nym's 110 year-long lifetime on Earth where it can be found in the Writers Block. I want you to provide a true account of Nym and Tara's adventures on Earth, not the standard legend of Moses." Tyhry removed herself from the Simulation System.

_______

Tara and Nym
Inside the Simulation fork that Kl'ath-Sedruth had selected for Nym, Lexy and Nym gazed upon the dead and decaying body of Mosy. Nym asked, "How did he die?"

Lexy said, "Balok did not bother to tell me any details. All men die, some sooner than others. What matters is that you live." Lexy sent a swarm of femtbots into the body of Mosy. Mosy's corpse glowed with inner light and then Lexy and the dead body were extracted from the Simulation by Kl'ath-Sedruth.

Nym turned and saw Tara the Ta who had witnessed the disappearance of Lexy and the corpse. She told Nym, "I'm glad you are finally here. All has been prepared for you."

Nym telepathically examined the thoughts of Tara, whose mind and physical appearance was like those of Tyhry and Lexy. "You are Tara, but you are called Typpo?"

"Exactly. I am your sweet bird. We will make two children, Ely and... your first son I will name 'alien', befitting my tryp'At nature."

"I am a robot. How can I father your son?"

"When Kl'ath-Sedruth processed you through the Reality Simulation System, you were made into a femtobot replicoid. Your body now carefully mimics that of a human being. You will now live on Earth among humans as a human."

Nym looked up at the nearby slopes of Mt. Syny. Nym was again processing more of the infites that he had been given to him by Balok. Nym told Typpo, "Balok told me that I would live here in Mydsyny with you and there is a vision in my mind. That is not a vision of a blond clone of Tyhry." Typpo took Nym's hand and led him towards the nearby camp of her nomadic family.

Typpo laughed at Nym's confusion and her hair turned black. "I had to let you see my true form, but you are correct. Here in Mydsyny and playing the role of Typpo, the Midyans know me in this form... a woman with dark hair and brown skin. My ancestors were... descendants... of the great El. It is more complicated than that, but suffice to say that the tryp'At were made with many Ekcolir gene patterns. I was born with bright hair inherited from my tribes people from the northern lands."

Nym had been telepathically exploring Typpo's mind pattern, whatlittle of it she was allowing him to observe. He said, "You are like Tyhry. You can control what I telepathically see in your mind."

"Of course, I have been trained to guide you in your new life here on Earth, but you cannot be allowed to know too much about your future. This is an adventure for you." Typpo began to unleash her telepathic sashei on Nym. She made use of sex hormones and mind-adjusting nanites to guide the thought patterns of Nym's mind. By the time that Typpo led Nym into her fathers tent, Nym was sporting a very stiff erection and Typpo was enjoying the effect that she had on Nym's body.

Inside the dim tent, Typpo's father, Jyth did not notice Nym's priapic state or Typpo's stiff nipples. Typpo told Jyth, "Father, this is a wanderer from Egypt, Mos... Moses."

"I am Ry-El, one of El's shepherds, but the Midyans call me a Jyth, a leader of the clan."

Nym said, "I am a wanderer in this strange land." He was still holding Typpo's hand. "The first thing I have learned is that your daughter has interesting powers over... men."

Jyth laughed. "Yes, I know. Typpo has studied the lore of the Northern Tribes of El, our ancestors who are lost in the mists of time. Some of the Midyans call Typpo a mykha, which is somewhat unfair, but also a reasonable approximation of the truth."

Typpo told Nym, "Listen, Stranger, I have skills... I don't use magic. It is not magic to smelt ore into barzyl."

Jyth was amused by the easy intimacy between his daughter and the stranger and how they held hands and let their eyes linger on each-other. "I want to know your intentions, young man. You appear here in my tent like a bolt of lightening from the blue sky. Have you been my daughter's secret lover?" Jyth asked Nym, "Tell me stranger, do you wish to ravish my daughter or are you here to tell me that that was done long ago?"

"I find myself powerfully attracted to Typpo. I've never felt like this before."

"Yes, yes... a mykha like my daughter has great power over men. However, you may want to take a look at Typpo's younger sisters before you-"

Typpo interrupted her father, "Save your breath. Moses grew up in Thr..." Typpo giggled. "In Egypt and he has the wandering eye of a young buck dear. He'll take his eye-full of your other daughters with or without your invitation and permission."

Jyth called out to his youngest daughter, "Bring food and drink to my tent. We have a guest." Jyth told Nym, "I should have found a husband for Typpo long ago, but she seems to prefer spending her time among my herds. While tending the flocks, I suppose she manages to find many young men wandering in the wilderness, you being only the latest."

Typpo laughed. "I try to keep on friendly terms with the other clans. Since you have no sons to defend you in your old age, I must use the tools that I have to practice diplomacy."

Jyth told Nym, "I owe my position as priest to Typpo's mother. Remember, Moses, it is good to marry into a powerful family."

Jyth's youngest daughter, Mydra, entered the tent with a bladder containing water. She looked at Nym and was amazed. Typpo was very tall, but Nym towered over her. She handed Nym the water and said, "Quench your thirst, stranger. I'll bring food, unless you'd prefer to eat me."

Typpo let go of Nym's hand and grabbed Mydra by the arm and pulled her out of the tent, "I'll help you gather the food." Looking over her shoulder at Nym, Typpo said, "His name is Moses, and he will decide for himself what to do with his tongue."

Jyth asked Nym to be seated. "My daughters have playful tongues. I hope you are not offended."

"Not at all."

Now Jyth could see Nym's erection bulging outwards against the fabric of his robe. "Tell me of your parents, Moses."

Nym discovered that there was a reply to this question waiting in the infites that had come from Balok. "I can't tell you everything of my past. I want to forget about my life in... Egypt."

"Ah, you left behind some troubles, lad?"

Nym thought about the conflict that had grown up between himself and Systolina on Threy. "Yes, that is true. I welcome the chance to start a new life where I am welcomed and where there is meaningful work for me to do."

Jyth rubbed his chin. "I imagine there are many interesting things to do in Egypt, but here in the sleepy wilderness of Mydsyny, life is simple. Work? There is plenty of that here! I never managed to father any sons to help with all the work, so my daughter have become like men, resourceful and competitive. I expect each of them to compete for your attention."

Typpo and Mydra returned with food that they set before Nym. They now also left open their robes, allowing Nym to see their cute breasts. Jyth told Nym, "Observe by lovely daughters... the games begin."

Typpo announced, "I found Moses, I'll see to his needs."

Mydra suggested, "Moses is not interested in old ladies like you Typpo." She sat close beside Nym and put an arm around his back. She asked Moses, "Did you leave behind a young lover in Egypt?"

Nym found that for the first time ever, he now had an interest in eating. For a time he chewed and ate, while imagining what he should say. Tara opened up a telepathic connection to him and told him: You can tell Mydra that she is more beautiful than any Egyptian.

"I can't keep secrets from a pretty girl." Nym chuckled and told Mydra, "If you promise not to tell others, then I'll answer you."

Mydra laughed. "Oh, how exciting, a mysterious stranger with secrets! Very well, I promise to try not to gossip. If what you say is simply too amazing, I probably won't be able to resist telling all my sisters."

A voice came through the fabric of the tent. "Just have Moses speak a little louder, so we can all hear."

Nym heard a chorus of giggles coming into the tent from outside. Jyth told his daughters, "Come inside, all of you."

Three more of Jyth's daughters entered the tent and settled in around Nym. The other two were out patrolling the pastures and watching over the herds. One of Typpo's sisters told Jyth, "I'll happily come inside or out in the pastures." She asked Typpo, "Where is the stranger from?"

Typpo put a hand over his sister's mouth, "Quiet. We will get the answer from the horse's mouth."

Nym said, "If asked, you can say that I am from Egypt, but a better answer is Gysym where many clans of Abraham's descendants reside." By the light of an oil lamp, he looked at each of the faces of the daughters of Jyth and added, "I'm glad I am here and not there in the Nile swamps."

Jyth told Nym, "If you seek work, you are welcome here. You can begin helping with the sheep sheering in the morning, after you have rested."

Mydra told Nym, "Moses can spend the night in our tent. He might not get any sleep, but he can just relax and let us do all the work."

Mydra's sisters laughed and began taunting Nym for his jutting erection. Jyth eventually said to Nym, "Be off with you. I'll show you the herds in the morning."

Typpo was correct about Nym's wondering eye. He had functioned for centuries on Threy where any request by a tourist for sexplay was quickly and efficiently met with action by Nym. However, since Typpo was the only one of the seven sisters who was ovulating regularly, it was not much of a surprise when she became pregnant and was married to Nym by Jyth. That night, Typpo finally had a chance to be alone with Nym. He was thinking about the meaning of 'tryp'At' that he could see in the thoughts of Typpo that she shared with him telepathically. After they shared a long sexplay session inside their tent, Nym places his hand on her abdomen and asked Typpo, "So, your little alien is growing inside you?"

"I'm already a month along and synapex linked to Gyrso."

"Synapex?"

"A way to link together our endosymbionts. I'll be training up Gyrso's telepathic mind pattern and you can help with that process."

Nym admitted, "I'm still astounded to find that there are telepathic alien-human hybrids on Earth."

"Yes, of course the non-telepathic humans of Earth cannot be told the truth. They would resent my telepathic abilities." Tara was following Nym's thoughts. "I can't tell you the future of your children."

"I'm trying to imagine the far future, in the ages to come." He was trying to imagine how herders of sheep and goats could be told about the idea of artificial life-forms and transcendence into the Hierion Domain. Typpo's sisters lived for the present and gave no thought to death or the possibility of a life beyond Earth.

Typpo re-arranged the femtobot components of her body, taking on the form of her natural tryp'At body. For the moment, she kept her penis hidden inside its sheath in her abdomen. Nym had already seen Tara's tryp'At body in her thoughts, but now he feasted his eyes on her alien beauty. Typpo said, "I wish you luck with your great project."

"I was hoping for more than good wishes. I don't know what to do."

"I've seen some of the future when artificial life-forms will become common on Earth, but it is best if you not know too much of the future. You must follow your programming and do what you can to help advance civilization on Earth."

"Your sisters speak of a great god on the summit of Mt. Syny."

Typpo giggled. "That is silly folk-lore. However, there is a Grendel teleportation station deep under Syny. I'll show you the secret entrance to that facility. Maybe Kl'ath-Sedruth will provide you with a future vision from the Sedron Time Streeam."

 Nym asked, "Grendel?"

Typpo sighed. "The Midyans call the Grendels mal'akh, messengers of Kl'ath-Sedruth. Kl'ath-Sedruth is the local god of Mt. Syny. Of course, you already know Kl'ath-Sedruth, the sedronite who sent you here. The Grendels were more active in the past, but they sometimes operate among the human population of Earth, mainly to spread useful gene combinations, although that is most often accomplished through programming of the Bimanoid Interface. You can ask Kl'ath-Sedruth for details."

Nym had just discovered Tara's allzaurish and there was no further talk until Nym had thoroughly explored Tara's back vagina. Then, well before sunrise, Tara took Nym to the secret alien facility under Mt. Syny. Waiting for them there was Tyhry who greeted Nym, "Good to see that you are getting integrated into human society." She turned to Tara and said, "I'm one of your clone sisters, from your future." Tyhry placed a hand on Tara's belly. "I can sense two femtozoans inside you."

Tara was not familiar with that term. "Femtozoan?"

Tyhry giggled and told Tara, "You can ask Kl'ath-Sedruth for details. " Tyhry turned to Nym and asked, "Tell me, are you happy here with Tara?"

"Yes, I am. Typpo is a good teacher. I am learning about the people of this era. I could not ask for more interesting and challenging work, although I fear that progress is slow. Actually, I don't think I've accomplished anything... yet."

Tara rubbed her belly and told Nym, "You helped me make Gyrso."

Tyhry patted Nym on his shoulder. "That you are happy is what I wanted to hear." She turned away from the robot. Speaking over her shoulder she said, "Well, I may stop by again to check on progress. Have fun you two." Tyhry exited from the Simulation. Knowing well the history of the Final Reality, Tyhry never bothered to return to see the version of Earth that was created by Nym.
