During the past five weeks I wrote five stories with about 87,000 total words and 121 new illustrations:
1) Terminus Planet
2) Time of Theurgency
3) Foundation Reality Simulator
4) The Synpaz of Seelie
5) The Gensifer Clan

The first four of those stories are related; they form one linked sequence of tales that I'll now call Grean's Hack. Here in 2020, I'm celebration 100 years of Isaac Asimov. Grean's Hack is best viewed as fan-fiction since it includes fictional elements (such as the planet Terminus) that I borrow from Asimov's Foundation Fictional Universe.

"The Gensifer Clan" is part of a different group of stories and it links The Yerophet Experiment to The Power of Pause. I wrote "The Gensifer Clan" during August as part of my annual celebration of Jack Vance.

Grean's Hack
As previously discussed here, Grean's Hack began as an attempt to imagine how a film version of Isaac Asimov's Foundation trilogy might have been made in the 1950s.

The obvious way to make a Foundation movie during the 1950s was to do it in the Ekcolir Reality, where the pace of technological advance was a little accelerated and science fiction played a role in preparing the people of Earth for First Contact with aliens (the Fru'wu).

Aristocles
In the Ekcolir Reality, there was never a Roman Empire and much of Greek mythology was transmitted through time by the Etruscans. In Etruscan mythology, Clio and Hestia were often depicted as being in conflict. In several Etruscan myths Clio is trying to help humans preserve a record of historical events while Hestia could usually find cogent reasons for wanting to erase history. Hestia was trying to protect Humanity from dangerous technological advances.

For the Exode Saga, there is a similar conflict between R. Gohrlay and Grean. During her time in charge of Eternity, R. Gohrlay carried out an extensive technology development program. Scientists on Earth were able to develop many advanced technologies such as teleportation.

R. Gohrlay also discovered how to endow humans with both twitino-mediated "natural" telepathy and also a form of technology-assisted telepathy using other hierions and the Bimanoid Interface. When Grean took control of Eternity, many of the secrets of hierion physics remained hidden away inside the AR Simulator. Grean's Hack is the story of how Grean was able to hack into the AR Simulator.

in the Ekcolir Reality (Pharism)
In the Exode Saga, when at work creating the Final Reality, Grean the Kac'hin exercises near-godlike powers (including the ability to travel through Time) derived from the Huaoshy. However, there is one major deficiency in Grean's vast armament: the positronic robots of Earth have hidden away the secret of advanced hierion physics that they learned from the Phari.

The Power of Love
When the pek needed to find a way to deal with the telepathic positronic robots of Earth, they already had vast experience crafting a human variant known as the Prelands. When the positronic robots came into existence, the hermaphroditic Prelands were already close to taking control of Earth.

The Prelands were being genetically engineered by the pek as a human variant that would eventually evolve into a biological lifeform capable of transcending to the Sedronic Domain. The Prelands had a form of artificial reproduction that was driven by rational thinking and predicated upon conscious decision making. Among the Prelands, sexual pleasure had been entirely separated from the reproductive process.

After childhood, the Prelands seldom spoke. As adults, they used a form of technology-assisted telepathy that was made possible by using a special type of sedron-mediated communications, facilitated by the zeptite endosymbionts inside Preland brains.

Because of their mastery of sedronic physics, the pek had a technological advantage over the positronic robots. After realizing that the positronic robots of Earth had time travel technology, the Huaoshy invented their own form of time travel which was aided by their advanced Reality Viewer. After studying Earth and learning how to counter the twitino-mediated telepathy of Earth's robots, the pek were ready to capture Eternity. However, the Prelands could not be used as agents of the pek for this mission.

To have a suitable means of infiltrating Eternity, the pek designed a new human variant, the Kac'hin. Grean became the leader of a mission to Earth that was able to take control of the Eternity space-time bubble, ending the era of R. Gohrlay's dominance over Earthly affairs. However, R. Nyrtia and several other agents of the positronic robots (particularly Trysta Iwedon) remained at large.

some hermaphrodites of Exode
Like the Prelands, the Kac'hin were a hermaphroditic human variant, but unlike the Prelands, the Kac'hin had been designed so as to work comfortably with the humans of Earth rather than replace them. The Preland libido had been greatly reduced compared to that of Earth's humans, but in contrast, the Kac'hin were experts in deriving sexual pleasure from their bodies. Before her mission to Earth, Grean was trained to make use of the human sex drive as a tool for manipulating the behavior of Earthlings.

As told in Grean's Hack, before bringing into existence the Final Reality and loosing the ability to travel through Time, Grean attempts to hack into the Asimov Reality Simulator. It was in the Asimov Reality that R. Nyrtia traveled far back in time and established a collaboration with the Phari.

Grean believes that secrets of the Phari are hidden away inside the Asimov Reality Simulator. However, R. Nyrtia put a lock on that Simulator, so Grean must struggle to hack into the AR Simulator. Using fire to fight fire, Grean decides to use the replicoid system of Eternity as her lock-pick. The replicoid system and its associated Bimanoid Interface were crafted by R. Nyrtia in order to give Earth some Temporal Momentum.

searching Deep Time
Each person on Earth is linked to a replicoid in the Hierion Domain. The replicoid makes sure that the lives of Earthlings are similar to the lives of their analogue in the previous Reality of Deep Time. Grean realizes that the Bimanoid Interface can become a way to achieve two-way technology-assisted telepathy between people and their replicoids.

The humans who are best-suited to use the Bimanoid Interface in this way are those whose brains are already adapted for the use of telepathy. Some humans have gene combinations that allow them to use twitino-mediated "natural" telepathy. Grean must position a few of these special humans where they can experiment with the Bimanoid Interface.

Grean discovers that one of the key Earthlings who she needs for her hacking project is Ariel Adler. A copy of Ariel is brought into Eternity where she adopts the name 'Relda'. Relda begins helping Asimov make use of the Foundation Reality Simulator to search for clues to the origins of human telepathy.

Meanwhile, back on Earth, not only is Ariel able to bring Asimov's Foundation Saga to video format, she becomes a major financial supporter of the Foundation for Science Fiction. The Foundation for Science Fiction was founded by Petra Nicholls and Gina Hay.

Grean targets Petra by linking her to Sven, the son of Asimov in the Ekcolir Reality. Sven has been given access to hierion probe technology that can be used to allow Petra to take control of her femtobot endosymbiont. Petra is able to establish a two-way telepathic link to her replicoid (Artep) inside Eternity.

The remaining challenge for Grean is getting a telepathic replicoid inside the Asimov Reality Simulator. For this stage of her project, Grean targets Gina Hay. A word of caution: the hermaphrodites that readers encounter in Grean's Hack are all referred to with the pronouns she and her. Upon casual inspection, they look like females.

In part 9 of "The Synpaz of Seelie", Grean confides in Relda, sharing her plan for how to gain access to the AR Simulator. In order to break the lock that R. Nyrtia put on the AR Simulator, Grean creates a series of scientific advances extending from the 1800's into the future. When the last of those linked advances in Hierion Physics is complete, the means are assembled to allow Gina's replicoid to enter the AR Simulator and then telepathically inform Grean that the access key has been found.

In order to accomplish her goals, Grean created people to deploy on Earth much in the way that a play-write might create a new character. Two of Grean's special creations for Grean's Hack are mind clones. Petra's brain is designed to match that of O.A., the analogue of Isaac Asimov who came from the Asimov Reality into the Ekcolir Reality. Gina Hay's brain was designed to resonate with that of Relda.

Left to themselves, Petra and Gina would never have been able to establish telepathic communications with anyone in Eternity. Grean also needed to position on Earth someone who could deploy the advanced hierion field technology needed to modulate the femtobot endosymbionts inside Petra and Gina. Sven was designed and created for this purpose.

Although Sven is depicted as the son of Isaac Asimov and Marcia Greenberg in the Ekcolir Reality, he is also an artificial genetic construct and has some genes derived from the fain. Whenever there is a difficult job to perform, such as Petra voluntarily subjecting her brain to hierion beam experiments, Grean deploys an operative who can get the job done. Sven was carefully designed to work closely with Petra and with time, they fall in love and get married.

There are several other such "designer couples" in Grean's Hack, and readers should not be surprised by the way that Grean engineers sexual attraction between her operatives in order to manipulate their motivations and guide their behavior. Readers might wonder to what extent people such as Petra are actually exercising free will and controlling their own futures. The boundary between free will and determinism is one of the core themes in my stories that are set in the Exodemic Fictional Universe.

Fantasy
For several years I have been on a mission to write a fantasy story. Is "The Synpaz of Seelie" actually a science fantasy story? In the story, mention is made of the fact that "the Huaoshy long ago learned how to tap into the zero point energy of hierion fields", and the idea is floated that a particular hierion with negative mass is utilized to give the synpaz their power of flight. I could not resist giving a "scientific" explanation for how the Sy'Paz and the synpaz can fly.

However, even if Mary truthfully identified a "future science" basis for powering synpaz flight, I still have no idea how the "zero point energy of hierion fields" would be used to make a synpaz move. I just wanted to make a fun story that accounts for the widespread presence of "little people" in Earth's ancient cultures.
