Here is the problem... sometimes I discover a story such as "
The Man Who Never Died" by
Robert Alexander Wason. Until that discovery, I knew nothing about the proto-science fiction stories that had been published in
Physical Culture magazine. You can find a summary of
The Man Who Never Died here.
Very quickly, I was tempted to make use of some of the old cover
illustrations from
Physical Culture magazine and the fun begins: can I discover the names of the cover artists? Often the answer to that question is: no.
In other cases, I find a more recently created image that is available for re-use under a
Creative Commons license and I include the image in my blog, but then it becomes a challenge to correctly attribute that image every time that I use it.
In the good old days, Blogger used to always show the name of the image files that I uploaded to this blog, but during the first few months of 2022 that was no longer happening, which made it even more difficult for me to keep track of the images in this blog.

I'm going to try to compile a list of all the images from this blog that I can attribute to an artist. Wish me luck. I'm going to start
here and focus on the images that I found at the
deviantART online community. However,
the very first image that I wanted to add to my list was made using an image that has been removed from the DeviantArt website. 😖
In
