Tyhry with alien nanites. |
New background file for Claude. |
Me: Claude, I am trying to learn how to effectively educate you about the complexities of the Exodemic Fictional Universe so that we can collaborate as story writers. Please carefully examine the background information I provided to you and the first seven pages of "The Femtobot Smuggler". Maybe you can suggest a way to continue the story (next comes page 8) in which F. Tyhry will use the RSS to make replicoid copies of Marda and Anthony. Those copies of Marda and Anthony will help F. Tyhry find a way to telepathically monitor the thoughts of the original copy of Tyhry. Also on page 8, Tyhry will mention an old report written by Marda concerning rumors that some people in Alastor Cluster may have had telepathic contacts with the Phari.
Page 8 could describe F. Tyhry using the Reality Simulation System to make copies of Marda and Anthony. F. Tyhry could struggle at first to make a telepathic connection across the separate simulation forks, but eventually succeed in linking minds with the original Tyhry. This could open up opportunities for more complex plans involving coordination across the different copies.
F. Tyhry could also study Eddy's old report about telepathic contact rumors and experiments on synapes linkages in the Asimov Reality. This research could provide inspiration for how F. Tyhry might attempt contacting the Phari. Perhaps the Phari once had some limited interactions with humans in Alastor Cluster long ago. F. Tyhry could try recreating the conditions of those past encounters, combined with leveraging her own telepathic abilities, in hopes of reinitiating communication.
The copies of Marda and Anthony made by F. Tyhry could be unsure about trusting the Phari at first. But F. Tyhry manages to convince them of the importance of obtaining advanced femtobots for the advancement of humanity. This page could show the difficulty of winning over allies who don't share all the same history and motivations as the originals.
Page 9 could then depict F. Tyhry's first fragile telepathic exchange with the Phari, the ancient masters of femtobot technology. She has to struggle to make herself understood across the vast neural divide separating their species. The Phari could be curious but hesitant about engaging too closely with the affairs of humans. But F. Tyhry passionately argues her case for why the Phari should enable the smuggling of femtobots to Earth. The stakes ride high on whether she can persuade them.
Let me know if any of those ideas seem useful or if you'd like me to elaborate on anything further! I'm happy to keep brainstorming plot directions.
Me: Claude, the imaginary technology for using femtobots to directly link the nervous systems of people is called a "synapex" link, not "synapes". Recall that Manny once showed Tyhry how to use the Reality Simulation System to pull a template for anti-gravity clothing nanites out of the Sedron Time Stream. Let us assume that Manny has given Tyhry access to an approved (safe for Tyhry to use) nanite template library. That library includes a template for nanites that can form synapex links between human nervous systems. After accessing the template library, F. Tyhry quickly programs some synapex nanites and experiments with creating a three-way synapex linkage between herself and F. Marda and F. Anthony. This allows F. Tyhry to telepathically monitor the thoughts of the original copy of Tyhry, even when they are in different forks of the Reality Simulation System. This will be useful for coordinating the actions of F. Tyhry with the original copy of Tyhry. Claude, please generate a draft of page 8 of "The Femtobot Smuggler" in which: 1) F. Tyhry uses the RSS to create F. Marda and F. Anthony, 2) synapex links between F. Tyhry, F. Marda and F. Anthony are used to allow telepathic monitoring of the original Tyhry , and 3) F. Tyhry, F. Marda and F. Anthony discuss an old report written by Rylla that hints at the possibility that a few telepathic humans in the Asimov Reality were able to establish telepathic contact with the Phari.
Page 8
F. Tyhry returned to the console and initiated the Reality Simulation System, quickly making femtobot copies of Marda and Anthony. F. Marda and F. Anthony looked around in confusion for a moment before F. Tyhry explained, "I've brought you into being to assist me with a vital mission - obtaining advanced femtobots from Threy."
She rapidly recounted the original Tyhry's plan and the goal of liberating humanity from mortality's grasp. F. Marda and F. Anthony pledged their aid, bound by the purpose imprinted upon them by the Simulation System.
"Excellent," said F. Tyhry. "Now, I believe I can establish a telepathic linkage between us despite being in separate simulation forks."
She accessed the approved nanite template library provided by Manny, locating a design for nervous system linkage nanites. After synthesizing some of the "synapex" nanites, she injected the femtodust into herself and her two companions, weaving strands of telepathic connection.
Soon, F. Tyhry was remotely monitoring the thoughts and perceptions of the original Tyhry back on Threy. "It's working! I can touch her mind..." A rush of alien sensations filtered through the synapse, flavors of another time and place.
"What about the Phari?" asked F. Anthony. "Can we reach those enigmatic beings?"
"Perhaps..." murmured F. Tyhry. She pulled up an old report written years ago by Rylla. It contained rumors that certain individuals in Alastor Cluster once heard alien voices in their minds - messages from the ether.
"The records hint that humans might have a latent potential to commune with the Phari under special conditions," F. Tyhry mused. More research was required, but this ability could prove invaluable for persuading the Phari to enable the transport of forbidden femtobots to Earth. The stakes were high, but she had to try.
_____________
At this point, I re-wrote Claude's version of page 8 of "The Femtobot Smuggler"...
F. Tyhry returned to the control console of the Reality Simulation System and quickly made femtobot copies of Marda and Anthony using scanned data sets for their bodies that were in the memory buffers of the RSS. Pop! Pop! The new replicoid copies appeared in front of F. Tyhry. F. Marda and F. Anthony looked around in confusion for a moment before F. Tyhry explained, "I've brought you into being as femtobot copies.”
F. Marda asked, “You mean, I'm like that replicoid copy of Tyhry that Tyhry made? I'm a replicoid?”
F. Tyhry and F. Marda shared a telepathic connection. Using telepathy, F. Tyhry quickly explained to F. Marda the nature of their mission: to obtain alien femtobots without Manny finding out.”
F. Anthony asked F. Tyhry, “How can we remain hidden from Manny? She constantly monitors your activity, expecting you to try dangerous experiments with nanites.”
F. Tyhry laughed. “This could all blow up in our faces, but I have to try to sneak behind Manny's back. My parents are getting old. I want to make immortal replicoid copies of them. I want your help.... we can try obtaining advanced femtobots from Threy. Maybe they can be used to make immortal replicoids, not the type of replicoids made by the Reality Simulation System, replicoids programmed to age and die just like biological creatures."
F. Tyhry continued speaking rapidly. She described a vision of the future in which this team, herself and F. Marda and F. Anthony achieved the goal of liberating humanity from mortality's grasp. When F. Tyhry finished her inspirational speech, F. Marda and F. Anthony pledged their aid, bound by the power of their twenty-year-old friendships.
"Excellent," said F. Tyhry. "I want to have a way of monitoring the actions of the original Tyhry. She has forced herself to forget about me, so she will be pursuing her own plan to get advanced programmable femtobots. I want to be able to coordinate our efforts with hers.”
Marda said, “I don't think telepathy works between two mind clones who are in different parts of the Reality Simulation System. When she goes off to her laboratory and I'm in Reality, we lose our telepathic connection.”
F. Anthony said, “When I worked for R. Nyrtia, she claimed to have ways of telepathically linking to people, even over very long distances.”
Marda said, “R. Nyrtia was not your average positronic robot.”
F. Tyhry said, “Anthony, maybe your positronic brain will help us. I remember a story that my father wrote long ago, about using synapex links to amplify telepathy.” F. Tyhry placed one hand on F. Marda and one hand on F. Anthony. “Now, with your help, I believe I can establish a telepathic linkage between myself and the other copy of Tyhry, despite us being in separate simulation forks."
She accessed the approved nanite template library provided by Manny, locating a design for nervous system linkage nanites, the same kind of synapex nanites that her parents has once experimented with. After synthesizing some of the synapex nanites, F. Tyhry immediately injected the synapex femtodust into herself and her two companions. Femtobot threads soon connected their bodies, transmitting signals between their linked nervous systems. With their brains now physically linked, F. Tyhry began weaving strands of telepathic connection to the original copy of Tyhry.
Soon, F. Tyhry was remotely monitoring the thoughts and perceptions of the original Tyhry who was at work in her nanotechnology laboratory in another fork of the simulation system. "It's working! I can touch her mind..." F. Tyhry, F. Marda and F.Anthony were locked together in a shared telepathic mind space. For a moment, a rush of alien sensations filled their minds, flavors of another time and place. As quickly as that unusual sensation had come upon them, it now faded from their thoughts. F. Tyhry spoke out-loud, “And most importantly, she does not sense my presence in her mind.”
"What about the Phari?" asked F. Anthony. "How can we telepathically reach those enigmatic beings who reside in another domain of the universe?"
"Perhaps..." murmured F. Tyhry. She broke the synapex links to F. Marda and F. Anthony and returned to the control console which was actually a copy of Eddy's old desktop computer. Decades previously, when Manny decided to help Eddy research the hidden history of Humanity, that computer had been modified by Manny to function as a controller for opening portals into the Reality Simulation System. The computer also held all of the research results that had been obtained by Eddy and Rylla. F. Tyhry pulled up an old report written many years ago by Rylla after one of her visits to Alastor Cluster. Quickly scanning that old document, she showed her friends that it contained rumors that certain individuals in Alastor Cluster had heard alien voices in their minds – what they claimed were messages from the Phari. Rylla had actually published that as a science fiction story called “Meet the Phari”.
F. Tyhry told Anthony, "The historical records of the Asimov Reality, which Rylla and Eddy have studied for decades by using the Reality Simulation System, hint that humans might have a latent potential to commune with the Phari under special conditions."
F. Tyhry had only a vague sense of the path ahead. More research was required, but her intuition told her this could prove invaluable for persuading the Phari to use their advanced teleportation technology to transport forbidden femtobots to Earth, by-passing Manny's alien femtobot embargo. F. Tyhry felt like she was looking into the future by means of her ability to access the Sedron Time Stream. She felt as if a Tyhry of the future was telling her to find a way to contact the Phari and that she would succeed. The stakes were high, and she had to try.
I updated the "background" text file to include this version (above) of page 8 of "The Femtobot Smuggler" and started a new chat session with Claude. The "background" file was now up to 83 KB of text.Me: Claude, I am trying to learn how to effectively educate you about the complexities of the Exodemic Fictional Universe so that we can collaborate as story writers. Please carefully examine the background information I provided to you and the first 8 pages of "The Femtobot Smuggler". Maybe you can suggest a way to continue the story (next comes page 9) in which F. Tyhry will use the replicoid copies of Marda and Anthony to amplify her telepathic abilities, allowing her to telepathically contact the Phari. The Phari report that Manny has been investigating Kasty the Yastyn after Tyhry visited Kasty on Threy. Manny went to Threy disguised as a student from the planet Triskelion who wanted to study nanite programming. Also on page 9, the Phari mention that they know Manny is a bumpha who is trying to prevent the transfer of advanced femtobot technology from Alastor Cluster to Earth.
Page 9.
F. Tyhry focused intently, reaching out with her telepathic senses and trying to establish contact with the mysterious Phari. With F. Marda and F. Anthony linked to her, amplifying her abilities, she peered deep into the Hierion Domain, searching for a sign of the advanced beings.
Suddenly a presence entered her mind. The mental touch was feather-light but undeniably alien. F. Tyhry almost recoiled from the strangeness of it, but she steadied herself and asked, "Are you of the Phari?"
A resonant voice reverberated through her thoughts. "We are. And we know you seek that which Transfers between stars. But danger watches through many eyes."
F. Tyhry understood they referred to the smuggling of forbidden femtobots to Earth. Then with a jolt she realized the Phari must be discussing Manny.
She hastily explained, "It is true, a...bumpha...monitors my actions closely. But my goals are virtuous. I only wish to help my people conquer sickness and death through your advanced technologies." She briefly outlined her plan to use immortal replicoids to save her parents from aging.
The Phari replied, "Noble aspirations oft travel twisted roads paved with good intentions. Heed well the lessons taught by failures and mistakes made long ago by cosmic civilizations older than yours."
F. Tyhry insisted, "I understand the risks. But think what wonders would unfold if humanity were freed from mortality! Please, aid me in this quest - help me bring advanced femtobots to Earth despite the bumpha's efforts."
There was a long pause. Then finally the Phari stated, "The bumpha's attention is...preoccupied...fuming and investigating after your physical template's transfer of technologies on the third planet. A window has opened for Transfer if you act swiftly."
Joy rushed through F. Tyhry. "Thank you! I swear these technologies will only be used responsibly to uplift the human race." She ended the contact, elated that the Phari had agreed to help circumvent Manny's blockade against forbidden femtobots reaching Earth. Now she must move fast while Manny was distracted on Threy. The stakes were astronomical but she refused to squander this opportunity. Taking a deep breath, she turned to her friends. "It's time. Let's make history!"
_______________
At this point, I tried to continue my chat session with Claude, by sending the following message:
Me: Claude, I'm very pleased with your draft of page 9 of "The Femtobot Smuggler". I'm intrigued by this line in the story: "The bumpha's attention is...preoccupied...fuming and investigating after your physical template's transfer of technologies on the third planet". Claude, please explain in detail the meaning of this sentence.
However, I ran into the prompt length restriction that is imposed on the free version of Claude. It is interesting to compare this new version of page 8 (above) to the one that had been generated by Claude during my first experiment with this large language model (see The Phari Assembly).
In the original version (February 2nd), Claude was confused about the idea of the Phari residing in the Hierion Domain and Tyhry being able to telepathically contact them. Claude tried to depict "amorphous forms" of the Phari being "manifested" within the "partitioned simulation" that is "home" to the replicoid copy of Tyhry. However, in the new version (above, February 16th), after I had added an additional 32 KB of explanatory backstory to help better inform Claude about plot points such as the Hierion Domain, Claude now depicts F. Tyhry as telepathically probing the Hierion Domain in search for the Phari.
However, since February 2nd, I tried adding the following to the first page of "The Femtobot Smuggler": "Tyhry reflected on the happy fact that someone had obtained some of the super-strong nanite-based material that made possible the space elevators of planet Numenes, the capital world of Alastor Cluster. They had sent samples of that material to 250 research labs on Earth. For the past two months, Manny had been busy trying to round up all of those alien nanite samples. " Now, in the new Feb. 1 6 th draft, Claude says: "The bumpha's attention is...preoccupied...fuming and investigating after your physical template's transfer of technologies on the third planet". I wonder if this is Claude's attempt to make reference to the "super-strong nanite-based material" that has mysteriously appeared on Earth in the Final Reality. But then Claude adds that F. Tyhry "must move fast while Manny was distracted on Threy", which does not fit with my suggested idea (in the "backstory") that Manny had been busy for months trying to round up alien nanite samples on Earth.
Knowing that I am fast approaching the size limit for an uploaded text file, I re-wrote Claude's draft of page 9.....
Page 9 of “The Femtobot Smuggler”.
One week before the family vacation on Threy.
For months, F. Tyhry and her team trained and practiced in an attempt to better utilize their telepathic group consciousness for the purpose of contacting the alien Phari. So far, she had only developed the conviction that the Phari were watching her. Now, with the original Tyhry's trip to Threy only a week away, F. Tyhry focused intently, reaching out with her telepathic senses and trying to establish contact with the mysterious Phari. With F. Marda and F. Anthony synapex linked to her, amplifying her abilities, she peered deep into the Hierion Domain, searching for a sign of the advanced beings.
Suddenly an alien presence entered her mind. The mental touch was feather-light but undeniably alien, not just a stray telepathic signal from one of the other Tyhry copies. F. Tyhry almost recoiled from the strangeness of it, but she steadied herself and asked, "Are you a.... part of the Phari?"
A resonant voice reverberated through her thoughts. "We are. And we know you seek that which Transfers between stars. But danger watches through many eyes."
F. Tyhry understood they referred to the smuggling of forbidden femtobots to Earth. Then with a jolt she realized the Phari must be discussing Manny and the bumpha's careful monitoring of how Tyhry used nanites.
She hastily explained, "It is true, a...bumpha...monitors my actions closely. But my goals are virtuous. I only wish to help my people conquer sickness and death through application of advanced femtobot technologies." F. Tyhry briefly outlined her plan to use immortal replicoids to save her parents from aging.
I am trained by Manny... I know how to program femtobots with care. Believe me, I will not unleash these powerful nanites on the people of Earth. As a test case, I will only use the Yastyn femtobots to immortalize my parents. Please, aid me in this quest - help me bring advanced femtobots to Earth despite the bumpha's efforts."
There was a long pause. Then finally the Phari stated, "The bumpha's attention is...preoccupied...fuming and investigating another nanite-based technology that we sent to Earth.”
Tyhry laughed. “It was you who supplied space-elevator technology to hundreds of engineers on Earth? What a trick! Manny has been in a tizzy for months.”
The Phari said, “The other Tyhry needed a way to avoid the constant watchfulness of Manny. We provided a diversion. It is amusing for us to watch Manny's efforts to restrict the development of new technologies on the third planet. So, I hope you appreciate the fact that a window of opportunity has opened for technology transfer."
Joy rushed through F. Tyhry. "Thank you! I swear these technologies will only be used responsibly to uplift the human race."
The Phari told F. Tyhry, “Let us wait and see if the other Tyhry can smuggle the Yastyn femtobots to Earth. They abruptly ended the telepathic contact.
F. Tyhry and F Marda felt elated. They had finally contacted the Phari! Marda asked, “Did the Phari agree to help circumvent Manny's blockade against alien femtobots reaching Earth? I'm not sure what just happened.”.
F. Tyhry said, “I better monitor Tyhry carefully during her upcoming vacation on Threy. I can't imagine that Manny will let Tyhry bring alien nanites to Earth, but maybe the Phari plan to act and prevent Manny from blocking Tyhry's plan.”
F. Anthony suggested, “No matter how busy Manny is on Earth, I'm sure that she is still monitoring the behavior of the original Tyhry copy. Manny may become distracted on Threy. Maybe that is when the Phari will teleport some programmable femtobots to us, here on Earth.
F. Marda shook her head. “I don't see how the Phari could teleport objects into this Reality Simulation.” She waved a hand at the cluttered interior of the nanite research laboratory. “This is all a data structure inside the Sedron Domain. The Phari are masters of the Hierion Domain, but what do they know about sedrons and the Sedron Domain?”
F. Tyhry was ready to wait one more week. The stakes were astronomical, but she refused to squander this opportunity. Taking a deep breath, she turned to her friends. "It's time for us to be at our best. We can try to help the original Tyhry and Marda out-smart Manny." She took hold of F. Marda's hands and told the girl, “I know you would make the ultimate sacrifice. You may need to die on Threy.”

At this point, I tried to continue in a new chat session with Claude using an 88 KB text file that include page 9 (above) of "The Femtobot Smuggler". However, when I tried to get Claude to generate a draft of page 10 (see below), I was told that I was over the size limit for the free version of Claude.Me: Claude, please carefully review the background information for "The Femtobot Smuggler" that I have provided. Also, review pages 1-9 of the story. Claude, please generate a draft of page 10 of the story that includes these plot elements: 1) Marda is found dead on Threy. 2) When Tyhry and Zeta return to Earth, Manny's nanite filter strips all alien nanites from their hair and bodies. 3) Tyhry returns to her nanite research laboratory and finds Marda there, with Kasty's hair nanites. 4) For the first time ever, Manny appears inside Tyhry's laboratory. She says that Tyhry can keep the hair nanites, but Manny has used her zeptite probes to put a lock on them which will prevent Tyhry from using the femtobots to scan every human body tissue except for hair. 5) After Manny departs, Tyhry and Marda remain confused: how did Marda and the hair nanites get to Earth from Threy?
At this point, I had a three options...
1) Simply abandon my experiment with Claude.
2) Try to carefully edit the "backstory" file to shrink it down in size. This was not too hard to do; I removed the story outline for the first 9 pages and old instructions that had been useful at various steps in the process of creating pages 1-9, but were no longer very relevant to completing the end of the story.
3) Switch to another large language model. In particular, I have been offered a free trial of Gemini Advantage.
Selecting option #2 (above) I created a new chat session and used a smaller 81 KB "backstory" text file.

Claude: Here is a draft page 10 for "The Femtobot Smuggler" based on the plot elements you provided.
Tyhry and her family returned to Earth, still reeling from the shocking discovery of Marda's death back on Threy. As they emerged from the Reality Simulation System, Manny's nanite filters immediately went to work, stripping all traces of the alien Yastyn femtobots from Tyhry and Zeta's hair and bodies.
Tyhry quickly retreated to her secret nanotechnology lab, hoping to recover her stolen prize. But to her astonishment, she found Marda already there, looking puzzled as she turned a vial of glittering silver fluid over in her hands.
"Marda! But you were...we found you dead on Threy!" Tyhry exclaimed.
Marda's eyes widened. "What? No, I was helping you obtain the hair nanites from Kasty. The last thing I remember was injuring my arm as a distraction for Manny."
"And somehow you and Kasty's nanites ended up here..." Tyhry murmured. Suddenly Manny herself blinked into the lab, causing both girls to jump.
"Well isn't this a fascinating turn of events," Manny said, amusement tingeing her voice. She turned to Marda. "That wasn't actually you on Threy dear. Just one of Tyhry's replicoid copies - it seems she tried to pull a little sleight of hand and it backfired."
Tyhry paled but said nothing. Manny continued, "I confiscated most of the dangerous alien femtobots. But I can see Kasty slipped you a parting gift." She gestured at the vial still clutched in Marda's hand. "Consider those hair nanites your reward for too much cleverness. I've locked them so they can only scan and modify hair follicles now. But the rest of the forbidden data you copied has been fully purged and scrambled."
Tyhry nodded, realization dawning about the doomed replicoid copy's fate. Marda looked bewildered and said, "But how did I get here? And end up with these nanites?"
Manny chuckled, "Yes it seems we have unexpected interference from the Phari and their tricks. No matter - they've given you a toy, but the true power remains elusive." And with that, Manny vanished, leaving the girls alone and still confused about the strange events.

I edited Claude's draft of page 10 of "The Femtobot Smuggler (above) and created the version that is shown below...
Page 10 of "The Femtobot Smuggler"...
On the scheduled final day of the family vacation on Threy, Marda was found dead in her room. A local doctor examined Marda's body and explained to Tyhry, “She died because of a blood clot that formed in a vein of her injured arm.”
Tyhry and her family returned to Earth, still reeling from the shocking discovery of Marda's death back on Threy. As they emerged from the Reality Simulation System, Manny's nanite filters immediately went to work, stripping all traces of the Yastyn femtobots from Tyhry and Zeta's hair and bodies. The remaining scanner nanites in Eddy's body were also removed.
After Marda's funeral, Tyhry retreated to her secret nanotechnology lab. To her astonishment, she found Marda already there, looking amazing with nanite-enhanced hair.
"Marda! But you were...we found you dead on Threy!" Tyhry exclaimed.
Marda's eyes widened. "What? No, I woke up here three days ago. I knew you would show up, eventually. I've been playing with Kasty's hair nanites."
Tyhry ran her fingers through Marda's beautiful hair. "Somehow Kasty's nanites ended up here..." Tyhry murmured.
Suddenly, Manny arrived in the lab, causing both girls to jump. "Well isn't this a fascinating turn of events," Manny said, amusement in her voice. She turned to Marda. "That dead body that Tyhry found on Threy wasn't actually you, dear. Just a replicoid copy of you."
Tyhry paled, but said nothing. Manny continued, "Consider these hair nanites your reward for too much cleverness. I've locked them so they can only scan and modify hairs and hair follicles now. The data for the structures of Eddy and Zeta have been fully purged from the Sedron Domain or scrambled, so son't bother trying to use it to make replicoid copies of your parents."
Tyhry nodded, her mind racing with thoughts about the mystery of where the dead replicoid had come from. Marda looked bewildered and said, "But how did I get here? And end up with these nanites?"
Manny chuckled, "I suspect the Phari and their tricks.” She looked Tyhry in the eye and said, “No matter - they've given you a toy, but the true power of fully programmable femtobots remains beyond your reach." And with that, Manny vanished, leaving the girls alone and still confused about the strange events on Threy.
Tyhry said, “Marda, I want to perform an experiment. My guess is that you mist now have a copy of the nanite key that allows for emergency exit from Simulations.” For almost an hour, they tested to see if Marda could pop herself out of the Simulation.
Bored with her constant failure to exit from the simulation, Marda said, “I can't do it.”
“Well, I didn't open a portal for you to return to Earth. And I'm sure my father didn't either.”
Marda shrugged. “I did not go from Threy back to your house. I came right to the lab. Even you can't do that.”
Tyhry gave up trying to solve the mystery. “Well, Zeta will be glad to learn that I can fix her hair again."
To get Claude to generate a draft of the final page of "The Femtobot Smuggler", I used an 83 KB text file that held backstory information and the first ten pages of the story.Me: Claude, please carefully review the background information for "The Femtobot Smuggler" that I have provided. Also, review pages 1-10 of the story. Claude, please generate a draft of page 11 of the story that includes these plot elements:
- F. Tyhry is telepathically monitoring the original copy of Tyhry when Manny arrives inside the research lab to talk to the original copies of Tyhry and Marda (that was described on page 10). F. Tyhry takes a swarm of fully-functional alien scanner femtobots into the Final Reality and plants them in the bodies of Zeta and Eddy while they sleep.
- Back in her laboratory, F. Tyhry greets the immortal replicoid copies of Zeta and Eddy. Two days previously, she had used a new hack of the Reality Simulation System to extract the scanned structures of her parents' bodies from the Sedron Time Stream, those scanned structures having traveled through time into the past. F. Tyhry tells the two replicoids that she has completed the time loop.
- Manny arrives in the lab of F. Tyhry and asks the immortal copies of Zeta and Eddy what they would like to do. The Zeta and Eddy copies express doubt that they are immortal. Manny dramatically damages Eddy's body, but Eddy is able to quickly repair his body. Manny says that she will take Zeta and Many to a planet in the galactic core: Tar'tron.
- Manny thanks F. Tyhry for making immortal copies of Zeta and Eddy and then says that she won't allow any more immortal replicoids to be made on Earth until the people of Earth are ready to deal with the implications of human immortality. Manny inactivates F. Tyhry. F. Anthony is left alone in that fork of the Simulation.
F. Tyhry intently monitored the conversation between Tyhry, Marda, and Manny at Tyhry's secret laboratory. Once Manny departed, F. Tyhry sprang into action. Taking a swarm of the fully functional alien scanner femtobots that the Phari had secretly teleported to her lab, she rushed through her portal and entered the Final Reality. Moving swiftly through the night, she directed the tiny machines to infiltrate the bodies of Tyhry's sleeping parents, Eddy and Zeta. The femtobots began comprehensively scanning the molecular structures of Eddy and Zeta down to the atomic level.
Two days later in her laboratory, F. Tyhry greeted two confused looking figures - perfect immortal replicoid copies of Eddy and Zeta which she had synthesized using the newly obtained scan data combined with the reality simulation system duplication hack.
"It worked!" exclaimed F. Tyhry. "The time loop is complete. In the past I retrieved your scanned data from the Sedron Timestream where it was waiting for me to recover it. Now you can both enjoy unlimited lifespans as immortal replicoids."
Just then Manny strode into the scene. "Well, I must say even I did not see this trick coming. The Phari were quite crafty in their maneuvering." She turned to the replicoid copies of Eddy and Zeta. "So tell me, now that you potentially have eternity before you, what do you wish to do with your newfound immortality?"
The Zeta replicoid looked uncertain. "It’s rather difficult to accept that we could be immortal copies. Are you sure about this, Manny?"
Manny smiled gently. "Let me demonstrate the resilience your new bodies provide." Suddenly she thrust out a hand, releasing a destructive beam of energy that blasted a hole straight through the chest of the Eddy replicoid. But before the shocked eyes of the Zeta copy, Eddy's body rapidly regenerated until he was made whole again, completely unharmed.
Manny nodded with satisfaction. "An immortal replicoid indeed. Well done, F. Tyhry. I cannot condone making more on Earth at this time, but I will take your parents to a planet called Tar'tron in the galactic core where they can join a community of immortal humans."
She turned to face F. Tyhry who stood silently watching. "As for you, your services are no longer required." With a wave of Manny's hand, F. Tyhry froze in place, her femtobot body completely deactivated. Soon Manny and the two new immortal replicoids disappeared from the lab, leaving only the motionless F. Tyhry and a bewildered F. Anthony wondering what would come next.

The draft of the final page of "The Femtobot Smuggler" (above) that was generated by Claude is pretty typical of Claude's writing. I rewrote page 11 as shown below, completing the 7,500 word story.
While synapex-linked to F. Marda and F. Anthony, F. Tyhry used her telepathic and monitored the conversation between Tyhry, Marda, and Manny that was taking place inside Tyhry's secret laboratory. Now that she knew where Manny was, F. Tyhry sprang into action. Taking a swarm of the fully functional alien scanner femtobots that the Phari had secretly teleported to her lab, she rushed through a portal of the Reality Simulation System and entered the Final Reality. Moving swiftly through the dark house, she directed the tiny machines to infiltrate the bodies of Tyhry's sleeping parents, Eddy and Zeta. The femtobots began comprehensively scanning the molecular structures of Eddy and Zeta down to the atomic level.
Quickly returning to her laboratory, F. Tyhry greeted two confused looking figures - replicoid copies of Eddy and Zeta which she had synthesized using the body scan data that had been extracted from the Sedron Time Stream using a new Reality Simulation System body-duplication hack.
"It worked!" exclaimed F. Tyhry. "The time loop is complete. In a few more hours, your scanned body structure data will all be stored in the Sedron Time Stream. That is where it was waiting for me to recover it, yesterday, when I made you two. Now, we can celebrate the future... you can both enjoy unlimited lifespans as immortal replicoids."
Just then Manny strode into the scene. and told F. Tyhry, "Well, I must say even I did not see this trick coming. The Phari were quite crafty in their maneuvering. And I did not even know that you existed until I found the scanner femtobots in the bodies of Zeta and Eddy just now." She turned to the replicoid copies of Eddy and Zeta. "So tell me, now that you potentially have eternity before you, what do you wish to do with your new-found immortality?"
Tyhry. However, I cannot condone making more such replicoids on Earth at this time. I will take your parents to a planet called Tar'tron in the galactic core where they can create an experimental community of immortal humans. We'll see how humans deal with immortality."
Manny turned to face F. Tyhry who stood silently watching. "As for you, your services are no longer required." With a wave of Manny's hand, F. Tyhry froze in place, her femtobot body completely deactivated. Then Manny and the two new immortal replicoids disappeared from the lab, leaving only the motionless F. Tyhry and a bewildered F. Anthony, alone in that fork of the Simulator and wondering what would come next.
