Is
wiki software the best internet tool for collaborative writing? I enjoy the flexibility that comes with creating wiki pages. For example, I like to illustrate my stories and provide extra resources such as
glossaries. I wish wiki software allowed authors to do even more. In particular, it is useful for authors to make use of chat when they are collaborating on a story.
Sadly, Wikia became so plastered with advertising and other annoyances that I began to find it hard to use that platform. It was natural for me to explore alternative technologies for online writing and I shifted over to blogging. See:
Exodemic and
Exode.

Imaginary collaborators. Working with human collaborators to create science fiction stories can be frustrating. Often it it easier to invent
imaginary collaborators.
