Two years ago, I had an end-of-the-year blog post called "tHE yEAR inVERSE" in which I took note of several blog posts which I had begun, but not yet published, butt which I hoped to complete and publish in 2023. At that time, I was discovering the joys of creating stories that feature the Sedron Time Stream. Now, here I am in the future and my backlog of "lost stories" and old languishing blog posts continues to grow (there are now 50 unpublished blog posts). Below on this blog page is a description of the contents of these old "ghost" blog posts.

Figure 1. languishing blog posts
Contact. My bad habit of not completing blog posts goes back to about 2012 when I started a new blog page that was intended to hold ideas for Episode 7 of a Contact television series (see "Wye Not?" in Figure 1). In that planned episode, Dr. Shella Wye visited Moon Base Alpha, buttt I never continued working on the Contact television series.

Networking. Also on my list (Figure 1) of never-completed blog posts is "Brevik", which dates to early 2021 when I was writing a new science fiction story called "The Alastor Network". Brevik is one of the planets in Alastor Cluster. Periodically, Jimmy the Intern does some work on the Blogger software and creates new annoying bugs. Back in 2021 there was a bug that made it easy to erase blog posts that were under construction. The destruction of my 5,000 word blog post "Brevik" is described here. I could simply delete the empty blog post called "Brevik", butttt I keep it as a kind of ghostly reminder of the pain of having Google's software delete a large amount of carefully crafted text.

Ghosts of Blogging Past. I asked the Gemini chatbot about the origins of the word "ghost".

Gemini: The word "ghost" has a long and fascinating history, with its roots stretching back to ancient times. Here's a breakdown of its etymology:
Old English: The word originates from the Old English word "gāst," which had a broader meaning than our modern "ghost." It referred to the "spirit," "soul," or even "breath" of a living being. This is why we still use "ghost" in the phrase "Holy Ghost" to refer to the Holy Spirit.
Proto-Germanic: "Gāst" comes from the Proto-Germanic word "*gaistaz," which also meant "spirit" or "soul."
Proto-Indo-European: Going further back, "*gaistaz" is believed to derive from the Proto-Indo-European root "*ǵʰéysd-," which meant "anger" or "agitation." This suggests an early association of spirits with strong emotions or a disturbed state.

So, that chat with Gemini (above) was the origin of the title for this blog post.

Martians. The blog post "Additional Stuff" (See Figure 1, above) contains some old ideas for a Part 3 of my story "Someday Mars" (Part 1). In "Someday Mars", the Deep Time analogue of Alan Turing is Alice Turing. In my imagination, she was a tryp'At agent for Manny the bumpha, working on Earth while disguised as a conventional human. Part 3 finally got published in 2025.

Go Ask Alys. Similarly, the person known as "Alice Wroke" was that same agent working for Manny in another part of Deep Time and after I moved on from "Someday Mars", I created another story called The Cythyrya Investigation (see the blog post "Alys of Aloysyus") which features "Alice" Wroke using her actual name (Alys) and her son Jym, a potential source of useful nanites for Tyhry in the Final Reality.

Embryonics. After completing "The Alastor Network", I then wrote a follow-on story called "Meet the Phari" (Part 1). In June of 2021, "Meet the Phari" never got past Part 11. The blog post "Tirrit Trap" that is seen in Figure 1 contains ideas for Part 12 of Meet the Phari, buttttt I never completed that tale of how Chyryq's children were engineered (I used the terms "Embryonics counseling" and in the story there is an "Embryonics technician" named Eynta on the planet Viole) as part of the long-term project aimed at crafting telepathic humans in Alastor Cluster. Embryonics includes the use of multiple techniques such as telepathy and a hormone/pheromone/growth factor (called "oxymethin") that enhances telepathic abilities. As can be seen in Figure 2, at that time I was heavily into imagining aliens and human-alien hybrids with various skin colors.

Figure 3. Incomplete posts from 2022.
The Sogdian Clones. More of my abandoned blog posts are shown in Figure 3. In 2022, in Part 2 of The Cythyrya Investigation, I wrote about Jutta Holgenner, a clone of Jyryl Tynzy, A.K.A. "Zan Zu or Drusilla and otherwise". The story "Sedron Time Stream" was to include Gwen  (an analogue of Gwyned, the sister of Thomas.), Jutta and Gamma Gohrlay. Previously, I'd introduced the idea of a secret Grendel base that could be entered only if you has a special "nanite key", and Eddy had a vision of the future in which those nanites had become available (see: "Exit Edit"). In "Sedron Time Stream", Eddy was to be given access to the Grendel base by Gwen. The "Sedron Time Stream" blog post was going to include this image.

One of the fun parts of looking back at "lost blog posts" is resurrecting old images that can be updated by using AI-powered image-generating software such as WOMBO Dream.

see the original version here
Future Flow. Figure 4 shows an updated version of a "Sedron Time Stream" illustration that I made back in 2022. I had Mr. Wombo generate new versions of the three ladies who were in the original image and then I pasted those updates into the original image, preserving the text at the top left and the bottom right.

Gas Station book
Global Warming. In May of 2022, I posted G-syms for G-world, which I labeled as Part 3 of The Cythyrya Investigation. The blog post called "Gas Station" that is shown in Figure 3 begins with mention of a book called "Report on the Phari Gas Station" by Tama Wilson (image to the right). The story concerns discovery of Phari carbon dioxide gas teleportation facilities that are located deep inside the Earth, which had been designed to control the climate of Earth.

Figure 4. An illustration from the blog post called "Gas Station".
A depiction of how the tryp'At used mind control infites; from the archives of the Writers Block
I thought of a cartoon about the tryp'At that had been found at the Writers Block. Unfortunately, I had never learned exactly what the tryp'At Overseers had planned as their desired future for Earth.
Human history: the nicotiana saga.

Why Nicotine? Figure 4 (above) is one of the illustrations for "Gas Station". "Gas Station" was intended to be Part 4 of The Cythyrya Investigation and was called "Tama the tryp'At". Part 4 was "edited" by Eddy so in Figure 4, "I thought" means Eddy's thoughts. The image in Figure 4 was updated by Mr. Wombo to improve the quality of the depiction of the tobacco-using woman. Through the years, I've had fun imagining that behavioral control nanites could be spread in tobacco products (that's why there are tobacco plants in the banner for this blog).

The Nanotechnology of Love. Late in 2022 I started a new science fiction story called The Nanites of Love. The blog post called "Onanonanon" that is shown above in Figure 3 has ideas for how to continue "The Nanites of Love". The story begins with Jymzy carrying out an interventionist mission in Toronto, but then she must go to the Picacho ( it is called "Picachou" in the story) teleportation station after making a telepathic connection to Al Blackwood. The story shifts ahead in time to Zeta making telepathic contact with Daphne Marks, a descendant of Al Blackwood. The idea that there could be people on Earth in Zeta's time who might telepathically link to Zeta and her family members such as Tyhry was later developed in Futurescape where Naseh and Wydgren make telepathic linkages to Tyhry.

The image to the left is a recent update by Mr. Wombo to an image that was first generated back in the 2023 blog post Futurescape.

source: "Making Vendela"

Making Babies. The blog post called "Making Vendela" that is shown above in Figure 3 is a 7,400 word-long continuation of The Nanites of Love. I'm going to have to finalize and publish this blog post ("Making Vendela") in 2025. "Making Vendela" tells the story of the origins of Brak, the first full human telepath born on Earth. Carrin is the mother of Vendela. Vendela is Rylla's mother. Vendela led a secretive existence on Earth, passing key Asterothrope gene patterns on to Rylla. Rylla is the mother of Marda and Marda is the mother of Brak. The image shown to the right is from the as yet unpublished blog post "Making Vendela" and is Mr. Wombo's depiction of Marda while pregnant with Brak. Also in "Making Vendela" is Jymzy, who had other missions on Earth and once used the name Bonny Lynn Fennland when meeting Eddy.

Figure 5. Incomplete posts from 2023.
Large Language Models. As shown in Figure 5, starting in 2023 I began collaborating with chatbots (such as Bard). There are about a dozen never-completed blog posts such as "The Bard as a Collaborator" that I will never publish, butttttt they contain a record of some of my early interactions with Bard.

More Cythyrya. The never-published blog post called "Pantechnyk" (see Figure 5) has some ideas for another chapter in the story "The Cythyrya Investigation" in which Rey and Rylla use the Reality Simulation System to go to Myllyr's Planet. Manny's agent, Jutta Holgenner, was a character in the planned chapter of The Cythyrya Investigation that was under construction in "Pantechnyk". There was planned discussion of information that Jutta found in the old notes of Retz and Viole Falushe on the planet Sogdian.

Rytya and an infite bottle.

"Making Retya" (see Figure 5) is another never-completed blog post that also contains plans for a chapter in "The Cythyrya Investigation". Rytya is an alternate spelling of Retya. Previously, it was in Part 3 of The Cythyrya Investigation that Fraunze met Tya. Rytya is the daughter of Tya and Fraunze. By making use of the Sedron Time Stream, Rytya is able to make information from the future available to Angela Fersoni. What Angela learned about Rytya was passed from Angela to her clone sister, Ivory Fersoni. Eventually, some of the stories about Rytya were passed from Ivory to the Editor by infites. In my imagination, in the Ekcolir Reality there was a woman named Crimson Cloukey who was the Deep Time analogue of Charles Cloukey. Rytya used the Sedron Time Stream to send information from the future to Crimson. Eventually, Angela found information in the archives of the Writers Block about Rytya and how to amplify telepathic abilities by use of G-sims. Jump to Part 4 of The Cythyrya Investigation.

Figure 6. More from 2023.

Bard Chat. Shown in Figure 6, back in 2023 I started a blog post called "Zeptites vs Femtobots". That blog post contained a discussion of nanotechnology with the Bard chatbot. "Bard the Philosopher Poet" was another conversation with Bard in which I discovered that chatbots can't count and have trouble creating haiku poems with the correct number of syllables. In that conversation, we also discussed a new type of number called the "Bard primes".  In "Singularity", Bard and I discussed the story “Mr. Bard Goes to Washington” and the idea of an advanced artificial life-form that Bard called "Singularity".

City Block. "Wydgren Meets Wydgren" has ideas for how to continue my science fiction story City on the Edge of Tomorrow, which never got past Part 4. As described here, Wydgren is a writer. During the Asimov Reality, Phari endosymbionts provided developmental control nanites that kept the phenotypes of humans quite constant even while telepathic human variants were evolving in Alastor Cluster.

Figure 7. Ghost posts from 2023.
Figure 7 shows more abandoned blog posts from 2023 including "The Lahs Experiment", which holds 5,250 words of a planned chapter for "City on the Edge of Tomorrow". That chapter includes mention of "Inhibitor nine; in9," an inhibitor of the oxypathin-metabolizing protease that Rylla had synthesized. "Poor" Lahs, who carries many Ek'col gene patterns, becomes a test subject for sex hormones such as oxypathin and Klox23. Lahs is the husband of Wydgren.

"Syn Time" holds 2,100 more words of another planned chapter for "City on the Edge of Tomorrow" that includes Tyhry's Klox23-fueled synapex experiment which allows her to learn about how Laha and Wydgren survive on Earth while dealing with their Ek'col gene patterns. "Syn Time" also mentions Tyhry's impending vacation on the planet Threy.

Femtobots. "Upper Motor" has a 2,200 word story fragment for a new science fiction story called "The Mystery of the Missing Motor Neurons" which explores a technology for replacing neurons with femtobots. The story involves telekinetic powers in people who have no motor cortex because the cortex has been converted into a femtobot extension of their Phari endosymbiont. The image that is shown to the right was originally made in 2023 and then updated slightly here in 2024 by having Mr. Wombo make a new face for the woman with her head near the center of this cover illustration for imaginary story "Teleportation by Telekinesis".

Clothing nanite experiments.
Clothing Nanites. "The Farrax Nanites" has 38 images and contains ideas for a follow-on story after The Hua Nanites, but before Tyhry's vacation on Threy.  Tyhry is experimenting with clothing nanites obtained from the Hua home world, Sermyth. Tyhry is hiding the alien nanites from Manny the bumpha who does not trust Tyhry with advanced nanotechnology that has been obtained from worlds visited by means of the Reality Simulation System. This never-published blog post ("The Farrax Nanites") was superseded by "The Nanite Smuggler".

Figure 8. More draft posts from 2023.
Etc. Etc. Etc. Figure 8 shows 4 more old blog posts that never got published in 2023. "Assignment: Earth" was a place to put ideas about an artificial life-form visitor to Earth.

A new "Assignment: Earth".
"Summer Palace" contains ideas for how to continue "Mosy Saga".

"Tyhry's Nanite Lab" contains an idea for a story that links Wydgren to Mars, Iowa.

"More Meet the Phari" has some ideas for continuing my science fiction story "Meet the Phari" (Part 1).

Human alien hybrids of Alastor Cluster.
"More Meet the Phari" includes an image with two blue-skinned alien-human hybrid children from Alastor Cluster. I had Mr. Wombo update that old image (the new version is shown to the right).

Figure 9. 2023 & 2024.

Figure 9 shows the final two unpublished blog posts from 2023 including "First Phari World" which has some ideas for another chapter in the story "The Cythyrya Investigation", once again set on Myllyr's Planet (see "Pantechnyk", above).

In "Tyhry Termoil", Tyhry takes Marda into the Ekcolir Reality Simulator where they meet their Ekcolir Reality analogues. This story outline was largely replaced by my science fiction story City on the Edge of Tomorrow.

Rylla's RNA experiments.
"Rylla RNA" contains ideas for what might have been a continuation of "Edison's Endosymbiont Experiments". In this story, Rylla manufactures a short synaptic RNA (ssRNA) and puts it into her brain, and discovers that the RNA alters her telepathic abilities.

"Laban and Abigail" has ideas for two more chapters in my time travel story, Time Portal.  Francesca goes to 1545. She is duplicated, leaving one copy in 1923 Perth with her daughter, Sarah.

Figure 10. More 2024 posts.
"Telepathic Paradox" (see Figure 10) has a 4,200 word chapter for my science fiction story called The Nanites of Love. In this chapter, Eddy uses his blastipositor to form a synapex link to Rylla. Along with "Making Vendela" (above), I'll have to revise and publish this chapter of the story in 2025.

"The Infite Block", "Go Ask Alice" and "Oyub the Felydyan" all have ideas for new chapters that could continue my story Vythoth the Chresmoscopist.

Figure 11. Asdditional 2024 posts.
"AI video" (see Figure 11) is a work in progress concerning AI-generated video by means of software such as VideoFX.

"The English Major's Patience" and "Linked to Tar'tron" both have ideas for a new chapter of "The Fesarians".

"Telepathy Testing" has ideas for a fan-fiction sequel to Isaac Asimov's story "Cal". The new story is called "Black Patches".

Figure 12. 2024 or 2025.
"Deuterium Lite" (see Figure 12) is Part 4 of my science fiction story called "D*". I'll either publish this chapter of the story in 2024 or early in 2025.

"How to End a War" is conversation with Claude about ending the Time Travel War.

"1925" will be my first blog post of 2025 and it has my commentary about a scence fiction story teller who was born in 1925.

"Mission to Earth" has my commentary on  some old science fiction stories from 1969. I plan to publish this blog post in 2025.

The Search for the Hua

this image was made using NightElf01 by
 Eclesi4stiK under CC BY-NC-SA 3.0
Below on this blog page is Part 2 of a science fiction story called The Hua Nanites. In Part 1, Tyhry discovered that she had been invited to visit the home world of an alien species called the Hua. The Hua were the first biological species in the universe to discover the Sedronic Domain. The Hua developed sophisticated nanotechnology that utilized zeptites for many functions such as recording a detailed record of their civilization. Manny the bumpha has provided Tyhry with a bookmark that specifies the coordinates of the Hua home world, making it accessible by way of the Reality Simulation System.

Working in collaboration with Onky the Chyntos, Tyhry hopes to obtain nanites from the Hua that will allow Stacy and the other mind clones at Observer Base to repair the teleportation equipment and once again make it possible for humans to travel between Earth and the Eternity space-time bubble.

Before Tyhry and Onky enter into the Reality Simulation System, they first receive a mission briefing from Manny.

Part 2 of The Hua Nanites (jump back to Part 1)

Realizing that I had received a gift from Manny, I began to excitedly examine every detail of the Hua bookmark that I had found in the Reality Simulation System's control software. I was puzzled and annoyed by the seemingly alien text that was used in these simulation coordinates. For example, where a normal time coordinate should have been, instead there was this: 𐩁𐩄𐤘𐅨𐒦𐅣𐒧𐒧𐅚ᚺ𐃔𐀁. Using manual controls, I tried dialing back the time as far as possible, but it seemed as if it was impossible to move the targeting system any further into the past than these mysterious coordinates from Manny. Then my father came into the room.

Manny the bumpha
He flopped down in one of the easy chairs and waited patiently for me to explain what I was doing with the Reality Simulation System in the middle of the night. Years before, I had promised not to use the Simulator without first discussing with Dad what I wanted to do and getting his permission. However, I'd eventually grown past that kind of heavy-handed adolescent supervision and I had been secretly using the Simulator for my own projects such a what I call the Amplification Fork. I gestured towards the screen of the computer and said, "This is a bookmark from Manny. However, I don't recognize the language she used for the Simulation targeting coordinates."

Dad pulled over the big comfortable chair, sat down again and looked carefully at the coordinates. He told me, "Manny translates alien number and letter systems into Earthly form, often using dead languages."

I could see part way into my father's thoughts, but he was blocking me from seeing some of his memories of Manny. I sighed and again looked at the coordinates. After a minute, I complained, "It is so frustrating when Manny plays these games. And even now you are not sharing with me everything that you know."

Dad looked over his shoulder and I could also sense that Onky was out of bed and dressing. A moment later she came down the hallway and into the room. She squeezed into the chair beside dad. She was dressed warmly in socks, slippers, long underwear and a woolen jumpsuit that I had made for her, specially designed to accommodate her back breasts. Onky glanced at the screen and began to speak, but then Manny appeared beside the desk that held Dad's big computer system. Manny was back in her human form, looking like some kind of fashion model with her nanite hair swirling seductively around her shoulders. She asked rhetorically, "Is everyone assembled?"

I asked Manny, "You are sending me to the end of Time?"

zeptites
Manny gave a delicate shrug and replied, "You could go a few centuries further back into Hua history, but that would be a frustrating experience. Those earlier times were not efficiently recorded by the Hua surveillance and archiving zeptites. Any simulation of those times would be quite incomplete."

Eddy asked, "What do you mean by Hua?"

Manny explained, "The Hua became known as the "founders". It was they who first built spacecraft capable of traveling faster than light. They sought out and nurtured other biological species. Eventually, the artificial lifeforms crafted by the Hua transcended into the Sedron Domain and became the Huaoshy."

Eddy said, "I wonder if it is safe for humans to visit alien worlds." I could see in his thoughts that he was concerned about possible differences in gravitation strength, atmospheric content and even the possibility that alien micro-organisms could cause damage to humans.

Manny nodded and tried to reassure us. "I can adjust the Simulator so that humans inside a simulation can be quite comfortable even on planets that would kill a living person."

Eddy commented, "I wish you'd done that for me when I visited Alastor 2672. The high gravity was very tiring."

Manny giggled. "Exactly how I planned it. I did not want you charging around like madman. It was desirable for you to spend most of your time in bed, on your back letting Onky exert herself and rub up the orgasms."

Alastor 2672
Onky, a native of Alastor 2672, told Manny, "I've been enjoying the weaker gravity of Earth. Sexplay is effortless and it is easy for me to keep both Tyhry and Zeta sexually satisfied."

Manny tugged my father out of the chair. Manny sat beside Onky and slipped an arm around her. Onky hugged Manny and rather passionately kissed Manny on the lips. Manny returned both the kiss and the hug and then started fondling Onky's back breasts. Pulling her lips away from Onky, Manny told her, "I programmed your zeptites to precisely simulate the biological parameters of your original bio-body. This is my concession to the spirit of the Trysta-Grean Pact. That agreement specified that no replicoids be allowed on Earth here in the Final Reality, but if a replicoid is programmed to be indistinguishable from a biological organism, then what can be the harm?"

I bluntly asked Manny, "Am I going to be able to obtain any useful zeptites when I visit the Hua home world?"

Manny seemed more interested in sexplay with Onky than answering my question. Manny ran a finger along Onky's sternum, dissolving her clothing. Manny hiked up the hem of her dress and a set of tentacles from Onky's stateo-symbiont extended out from her thoracic pouch and went up inside of Manny's vagina. Manny quickly had Onky's penis out of its recessed compartment and I suppose they would have proceeded to have sex, but Eddy said, "If you two are going to fool around then I'm going back to bed with Zeta."

Watching Onky and Manny engage in sexplay had me quite horny. I thought about returning to my bedroom in search of Anthony. But then Manny teleported Onky away. I muttered, "Manny is so rude."

Eddy commented, "I suppose Manny is programming Onky for the mission to the Hua home world."

"Programming? Ha! I call it fornicating, not programming."

Eddy sat down on the edge of the big chair and nodded, "I suppose you and I have been under Manny's influence for so long that she can easily control our behavior. Onky, as a new arrival in the Final Reality, is probably in need of more attention from Manny."

I was thinking about nanite confinement vials and how I would transport any zeptites that I might obtain on the Hua home world. Eddy could see that in my thoughts and he said, "That's probably why Manny instantiated Onky as a zeptite replicoid. Onky can carry the teleporter repair nanites in her body... if you find any."

I could sense that dad was skeptical about this impending journey to the Hua planet. "I'm sure we will get the nanites. Why else would Manny have given me the bookmark?"

"I don't know, but Manny is crafty. She always has ulterior motives." Dad took hold of my hand and told me, "Be careful and don't stay in the Simulator too long. We've got guests arriving from Australia later this week."

I knew that I could pop Onky and I out of the Simulator at any time. I could even leave a copy of myself behind, inside the Simulator, if I ran out of time during my search for repair nanites. Eddy said, "Good luck with that search. Rylla has been at it for years. The problem is, none of us know how to recognize repair nanites." He sighed. "Maybe all nanites can function as repair nanites... if you know how to program them. Programming nanites is a trick that humans know nothing about."

Deep Time
I suggested, "Maybe Manny is sending me far enough back into Deep Time that the nanite programming techniques will be accessible to a primitive creature like me."

Dad nodded. "I suppose that is possible, but any species that knows how to make Zeptites is going to be as far beyond we humans as we are above a chimp. Could you teach a chimp to program a computer?"

Just then, Manny and Onky returned, appearing in the easy chair and pushing Eddy off and to his feet. Both Manny and Onky were naked. Manny said, "You two have fun on Sermyth." Manny kissed Onky one last time then teleported away.

I asked Onky, "Are you ready to go, or do you need to recover after your sexplay session with Manny?"

Onky giggled and told me, "Don't be jealous. It looks like very little time passed here, but I was just with Manny for three whole days. I'm ready to go."

I activated the Simulator and suddenly Onky and I were on the Hua home world. I could instantly tell why Manny had taken away Onky's clothing. It was hot and humid on Sermyth.

We had arrived near nightfall, towards the end of a blistering hot day, just across the bay from the main Hua SETI facility. For a minute, Onky and I stood there transfixed, looking at the amazing Hua laser beacon that projected up and into space. Then I noticed that Manny had dressed both Onky and I in very skimpy swimwear.

Not only that, our tops were stylish anti-gravity devices. I reflexively put my hands on my breasts, only then noticing that I held a flashlight in my hand. I began to giggle. Manny had programmed the Simulator to place both Onky and I into bodies that were like those of the Hua, which meant enormous breasts. I told Onky, "I hope Manny warned you to expect..."

Onky was bouncing her breasts up and down. She shook her head and told me, "No, I guess this slipped her mind. She did give me suggestions for how to help you adapt to your penis."

I reached down and explored my crotch and discovered that I was now in the body of an hermaphroditic Hua. I was surprised not only by my penis, but by the great forest of long hair that hung down between my legs. Then I took a step and cried out in pain. I reached down and discovered that my right ankle was swollen.

The sun was setting and unearthly constellations were appearing in the sky. I figured out how to activate the flashlight. It projected a narrow green beam of light which I shown on Onky. In the dim light, it was hard to tell, but there seemed to be something wrong with her skin. I was sweating, but when I reached out to touch Onky, she seemed not to be over-heated, but her skin looked unusually pinkish. Onky told me, "Manny mentioned that the Hua skin pigmentation is different from the human norm." Onky ran her fingers through the hair that hung down between my thighs, "And their pubic hair is like human head hair."

In her new Hua body, Onky looked quite seductive. I felt tempted to pull Onky down on the grass, try out my new penis and make love to her, but she turned and gestured towards the laser beacon. "According to Manny, this is a ceremonial SETI site... the site of the first major Hua SETI program. Now the modern sites are all located out in space, but this is where Hua SETI efforts began... according to Manny, that was about 80,000 years ago."

Again I gazed at the laser light show and I tried to imagine a technological civilization that was 80,000 years old. Now my eyes were adapted to the dark and I could see a path that led up into the hills or, in the other direction, down to the nearby shore. There was a yacht down there, anchored not far offshore. Onky took hold of my hand and led me down the trail to the water's edge. I leaned on Onky, trying not to put much weight on my injured ankle. Fortunately, the gravity of Sermyth is less than that of Earth. We discovered that a smoothly paved walkway followed along the shoreline. Onky walked right on past that walkway and out on the beach. When she walked into the water, I called after her and asked, "Where are you going?" With my sore ankle, I did not want to leave the smooth pavement.

Onky pointed to the yacht. "That's the yacht of Quyn Vye, one of the leading developers of Hua nanotechnology."

Realizing that Manny had carefully arranged for our arrival on Sermyth at this precise place and time, I hobbled across the sandy beach and then we swam out to the yacht. The water was quite warm, but having grown up swimming in pools, I wondered about the unseen alien creatures that were there in the water with me. On the boat, I could see two Hua who seemed to have noticed our approach. A voice hailed us. I was aware of hearing an alien language, but the Simulator translated the words for me. "Ahoy, who goes there?"

Soon there were two more people along the rail of the main deck, looking down at Onky and I. Still about 15 feet from the boat and treading water, Onky said, "My spouse sprained her ankle. Rather than try to walk back to town, we decided to seek your hospitality."

My eyes were drawn to a tall Hua with gigantic breasts who said, "Help them get onboard." I soon learned that this imposing figure was Quyn Vye, one of the prominent nanotechnologists of the planet Sermyth.

Onky climbed up a ladder onto the aft deck while one of Quyn Vye's children (Mym) helped me out of the water. Then Farryx, Mym's friend, essentially carried me up the ladder-like steps to the main deck of the boat. We went inside the cabin and Quyn Vye's spouse (Shya) placed some medical nanites on my ankle and began to massage the swollen tissue. Quyn brought me a cold drink and said, "You should have called the tourist service for help."

Mym told Quyn, "They don't have complants." Mym quickly ran her hands over Onky's wet body.

Shya was continuing to massage my ankle, but now she looked up at me and said, "How strange."

Onky told our hosts, "We are visitors on Sermyth. Our world is far away... Earth. We have different customs and our technology is not as advanced as what you have on this world."

"Earth?" Quyn Vye shook her head, "I've never heard of it." Quyn went over to the bar and prepared another drink.

Mym approached me and began exploring my body with her hands. She tipped her head towards Onky and told her parents, "This is weird... she has six nipples. Two on her back!" It was not easy to see Onky's  extra nipples because they were nearly the same pink color as all her skin.

Onky told Mym, "My people have been genetically altered."

Quyn Vye brought Onky one of the chilled drinks. After reaching out and stroking one of Onky's lower nipples, Quyn turned away and went to sit in a large chair of unusual shape. Quyn sat down in a chair, which seemed to have two additional seats, one to each side of her, but facing the opposite direction. She asked Onky, "You are part of the Transcendence movement?"

"No, I'm quite satisfied to live in the universe of stars and planets."

Farryx asked, "Where is Earth? I can't find mention of it in the planetary records." I later learned that the Hua use implanted communications devices that give them access to their version of a sophisticated information network.

Onky shrugged and looked at me. I still had my telepathic link to Onky. It was not a strong connection, but I could sense that Manny had not provided Onky with a convenient cover story which could be used to deflect curiosity about our origins. I told Quyn Vye, "Please don't question us too closely. You would not believe me if I told you the truth about Earth's location. That is really unimportant."

Quyn turned to Shya and said, "These must be the visitors that Manny told me to expect."

Shya took her hands off of my ankle, stood up and backed away from me. "The aliens?" Shya moved to stand behind Quyn's chair. "They look so... normal." Shya then sat down beside Quyn, facing Quyn, but with her back towards me.

"What are you talking about?" Mym laughed and asked, "Aliens?" She had completed her careful search of my body and had carefully made certain that I had no anatomical anomalies like Onky's nipples. Mym still had a hand resting on my bottom. I was only slowly realizing that Manny had provided me with an unusually plump bottom that was significantly larger than the Hua norm.

My unusual anatomy was instantly noticed by all Hua who saw me from behind, but at first I did not realize that Manny had also marked me as being a genetically-altered visitor on Sermyth.

When I drained the last of my drink, the container quickly dissolved away. The Hua use nanites for many purposes. Nanite cups that disintegrate when empty and return to the kitchen are ready and waiting for the next time they are needed. After watching my drink glass faded away to wisps of flying nanites, I asked Quyn, "You know Manny?"

Quyn explained, "I knew Manny long ago. Thirty years?" For a moment, Quyn seemed to look off into the distant past. "She told me that I would meet aliens before I died. Visitors from a far world. Now here you are."

Onky nodded. "Manny told us how to find you. Obviously, she planned that we would meet."

Shya
Shya asked Onky, "Why are you here?"

Again, Onky looked at me. I said, "We have a technical problem on our world... a problem that could be solved by nanites. However, nobody on Earth knows how to program and control nanites."

Farryx laughed. She waved a hand near her hair and it quickly sculpted itself into a new form. "Even children know how to program hair and clothing nanites."

Zeta
I was quite familiar with hair nanites because Zeta had been using them... a gift from Manny. However, Zeta's nanite-enhanced hair always conformed to the natural form of her hair. And while Anthony made use of clothing nanites, he was an interloper in the Final Reality and seemed incapable of sharing his nanite technology with humans. I continued, "Not on my world."

"You'll have to excuse me for my skepticism. I never really believed that I would live to see aliens on Sermyth." Quyn passed a hand over the contour of her big right breast, exposing her prominent nipple, which Shya began to suck on. I eventually learned that social lactation was an integral part of the Hua life-style and chairs were usually designed to facilitate that practice.

Quyn continued, "Our space explorers have found dozens of inhabited planets, but we have not revealed ourselves to most of them. We know that there is danger. Long ago, we culturally contaminated some worlds and the outcomes were disastrous. Nanotechnology is a most dangerous technology to share with primitive cultures."

I knew well the shape of the transgalactic extinction curve. I told Quyn, "I understand if you are reluctant to share the secrets of nanotechnology. However, in Earth's case, there is one particular problem that we need help with. We seek a way to repair a broken teleporter. It can transmit hierions and sedrons, but not hadrons."

Hua social lactation
Shya and Quyn looked at each-other, but Shya continued to nurse at Quyn's breast. Then Quyn said, "Mym is studying physics in school." Quyn asked her daughter, "Is it theoretically possible that a teleporter could fail to work with hadronic particles?"

Mym giggled. "What a strange idea." Mym stopped running her finger tips over the curve of my bottom and walked back over to Onky. Mym's eyes seemed to locked on the anatomical anomaly of Onky's second row of nipples. She took hold of Onky's hand. "Almost as kinky as extra nipples."

Farryx said, "There is an old science fiction story about using teleportation to mine sedrons from planetary crust. That story assumes that it is possible to tune a teleporter so that it would selectively teleport sedrons and not hadrons."

hierion mining
Mym had begun looking carefully at the structure of Onky's fingers and hands. Without looking up from that task, she shook her head and told Farryx, "I don't see how you could do it on a planetary scale. Maybe in a lab, if you had a powerful quantum computer that could analyze every particle taken up by a very finely focused teleportation beam."

Quyn asked wonderingly, "How can your world have teleportation technology if you don't understand nanotechnology?"

I sighed. I wondered if it would be best to tell the truth, but Manny had gone to a lot of trouble to disguise Onky and I and make us look quite similar to the Hua. Suddenly, Mym said, "This alien is not biological!"

Pulling her lips off of Quyn's long, pointy nipple and glancing over her shoulder, Shya asked Mym, "What do you mean?"

particle physics
Mym held up a small scanning device that she had been using to explore Onky's body. She approached me and placed the device against my arm. "This one is biological." She pointed at Onky. "That one is some kind of robot... composed of zeptites!"

Quyn nodded. "Just like Manny."

Shya said, "It makes no sense! How could they be from a world where nobody can program nanites, yet... she's a perfect robotic copy of a person... composed of zeptites..." Shya again began to suckle at Quyn's huge breast.

I explained, "This is the dilemma of Earth. We have been given access to some advanced technologies, but we need help using them. Sometimes Manny helps us, but she refuses to fix the teleporter. Manny has often told us that we need to solve our own problems or we will never learn anything. For a long time we had a functional teleporter and made use of it. Now it needs repairs. We need help."

Quyn popped Shya's mouth off of her breast. Not bothering the cover her big erect nipple (which continued to dribble milk), Quyn approached Onky and examined all of her nipples. "Manny constructed you?"

Onky nodded. "I'm now a replicoid copy of my original biological self. An artificial life form."

Mym asked, "What is a replicoid?"

"We don't really know." I sighed, frustrated by the bizarre situation that Manny had thrust Onky and I into. "Manny can make replicoid copies of people, but that is irrelevant. We can't solve all of Manny's mysteries. However, I think you can help us with our faulty teleporter."

Quyn asked, "This is all you seek? A way to repair that one machine?"

"Yes."

Quyn turned away from Onky and returned to the chair. She pulled Shya to her feet and put an arm around her. "I'll have to think this through... carefully. And I must consult the world government. There is a strict policy of not sharing nanotechnology with primitive cultures." Quyn led Shya away and down a flight of steps to the sleeping cabin that they shared.

Mym looked up from her hand-held device and told me, "You are an alien. You have gene patterns unlike any I've ever heard of. They match nothing in the alien genomes database."

Now Farryx examined Onky's supernumerary nipples. "Why were you given all these nipples?"

Onky shook her head. "I guess Manny wanted to provide you with clear evidence of our alien origins, even while giving Tyhry and I the basic body form of a Hua."

Mym asked me, "Your name is Tyhry?"

"Yes." I nodded towards Onky and added, "Her name is Onky."

Mym moved her hands under my anti-gravity bikini top and felt my breasts. "What about you? What is your natural body form?"

"Amazingly close to the Hua body plan." In fact, I felt quite certain that the human species had been carefully genetically engineered to match the physical form of the Hua. I admitted, "My species is not hermaphroditic. I'm actually a female."

Farryx had a hand inside Onky's bikini bottom. She told me, "We still have some males and females, but fifty thousand years ago, the H chromosome and the hermaphroditic body plan were perfected. Most people enjoy being hermaphroditic."

Mym pulled down my bikini bottom and found my penis. She pushed a finger into my vagina. "So strange... you look like an hermaphrodite, but I can't begin to make sense of your chromosomes."

I came very close to telling Mym and Farryx that we were inside a Simulation where Manny could control and alter my physical form, but then I got distracted. Mym started sucking on my penis and Farryx had undressed Onky and was playing a kissing game with all of Onky's nipples which were now bright pink and fully erect. Onky and I spent most of that night engaged in delightful sexplay with Mym and Farryx, during which I began to learn how the Hua body had been genetically engineered for pleasure.
