Part 1). All of the blog posts in this series have titles that contain several unusual
characters. This blog post is called "Sîmulated Vacatĭon" because in early 2024 I collaborated with chatbots to write the science fiction novel
The Nanite Smuggler (the complete story is
here). Most of the events, including Tyhry's family vacation on Threy, in take place inside the Reality Simulation System.
In this Decade in Review (DiR)
I am exploring AI-generated images as alternative illustrations for my old
science fiction stories. I'm using software
such as Whisk, WOMBO Dream, and Leonardo to generate updated story illustrations. An example of an AI-generated image is shown to the right in Figure 1.
Today, I had Gemini access the full text of The Nanite Smuggler and Gemini generated the following summary:
The novel begins on May 15th, 2040, with Tyhry and Marda entering a simulation of the planet Threy in the Asimov Reality. They are joined by Marda's mother, Rylla Onway, and Tyhry's parents, Zeta Gohrlay and Eddy. The group is on vacation, and they encounter a robot named Systolina Kayto, who is a nature guide for the resort. There are discussions about nanotechnology, different "Realities" (timelines of Earth), and the Sedron Domain of the universe. Tyhry has a secret nanotechnology research laboratory in the Ekcolir Reality where she studies Fru'wu nanites and hopes to obtain Yastyn hair nanites.

The plot involves Tyhry's attempts to obtain advanced alien femtobots from the Yastyn species on Threy, despite Manny, a "bumpha" (an advanced artificial life-form made of zeptites), trying to prevent the transfer of dangerous technology to Earth. Tyhry's goal is to make immortal replicoid copies of her aging parents. She works with replicoid copies of Marda and Anthony to achieve her goals, and they attempt to telepathically contact the Phari, advanced beings who reside in the Hierion Domain and are masters of teleportation technology.
The story includes events such as Marda intentionally injuring herself to distract Manny, and the Phari intervening to teleport Marda and Yastyn femtobots to Tyhry's lab on Earth. Ultimately, F. Tyhry (a replicoid copy of Tyhry) successfully creates immortal replicoid copies of Eddy and Zeta using scanned body data retrieved from the Sedron Time Stream. Manny, while acknowledging F. Tyhry's success, takes the immortal replicoids to a planet called Tar'tron to observe how humans deal with immortality. The novel concludes with the original Tyhry and Marda returning to the Final Reality, and Systolina, the robot from Threy, also appearing on Earth, having been teleported by the Phari. |

I asked Gemini: "

The quoted text about the Phari creating Alastor Cluster in in the final chapter of The Nanite Smuggler. I then tried having Claude read The Nanite Smuggler and I got the message shown in the image below...

Maybe the paid versions of Gemini and Claude are better and have a larger context window for user input. I'm too cheap to find out.
Here is an alternative summary of The Nanite Smuggler: Manny the bumpha has long struggled to catch up with the technological wizardry of the Phari, the masters of the Hierion Domain. While Huaoshy dominion over the Sedron Domain has placed the bumpha in control of the fate of Earth, the meddlesome Phari can still cause trouble's for Manny. Manny attempts to make use of her human apprentice, Tyhry, to expose weaknesses in the Phari defense of their secret homeland inside the Hierion Domain. Unaware of how she is being used by Manny, Tyhry is pleased to obtain some advanced programmable nanites, which she used to make immortal artificial life copies of her parents.

Soon after completing
The Nanite Smuggler, I began a new science fiction story called
Vythoth the Chresmoscopist. Several plot elements and characters from
The Nanite Smuggler were carried over and included in
Vythoth the Chresmoscopist. In
Part 1 of
Vythoth the Chresmoscopist, Tyhry is depicted as building an interstallar spaceship, the
Sedrover. Immediately after Tyhry makes use of her new E-wave communications equipment to contact her replicoid copy in the Final Reality, the robot Systolina Kayto suddenly appears inside Tyhry's nanite research laboratory inside the Ekcolir Reality Simulation.
The image shown to the left was made back in 2024 and can be compared to Figure 5, above, which was made by Gemini here in 2025. Gemini's version looks like an illustration for some silly fantasy story where Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion head off down the yellow brick road for a rousing adventure with flying monkeys.
Reality Change RetCon. One of the plot points in
The Nanite Smuggler was that it became possible to cause a Reality Change that altered the so-called Final Reality. Previously, in
City on the Edge of Tomorrow, Tyhry had recovered her tryp'At anatomical features
before the family vacation on Threy. However, so as not to offend my chatbot collaborators,
The Nanite Smuggler was completely G-rated and Tyhry was not allowed to have extra breasts, a penis and two vaginas.
Vythoth the Chresmoscopist explicitly depicts Tyhry as reverting her body to its tryp'At form
after the family vacation on Threy. We can pretend that this change was due to the Reality Change that took place during the events in
The Nanite Smuggler.
In
Part 2 of
Vythoth the Chresmoscopist, I finally wrote about a long-planned science fiction story plot element: Tyhry meeting her analogue from the Ekcolir Reality. However, when Lexy arrives at Tyhry's nanite research laboratory, Tyhry is very busy and she simply places Lexy into the pattern buffer of the
Reality Simulation System until Tyhry has time to deal with her.
Upon returning to the Final Reality, Tyhry is able to make a telepathic connection into the mind of Anthony. Tyhry's replicoid copy who has been living with Anthony has begun to learn the pattern of Anthony's positronic brain.

Systolina and Tyhry hurry to the airport to meet Marda and Rylla. Tyhry is eager to show Marda her newly acquired penis, but
Systolina is positioned to get an early sneak preview. Systolina has recovered her "innate" positronic telepathic abilities, but in the Final Reality, her telepathic abilities are much weaker than when she is inside the Asimov Reality Simulation. Systolina is trying to open her mind to Tyhry's telepathic inspection and explain to Tyhry the problem that has arisen on Threy, but Tyhry's mind does not easily resonate with positronic brain patterns.

In
Part 3 of
Vythoth the Chresmoscopist, Systolina explains that she has come into conflict with a robot named Nymerya Coryn. Tyhry starts to imagine that it might be possible to exile Nymerya Coryn inside the Ekcolir Reality simulation, the one Reality in which Mosy (the historical figure that gave rise to the Moses legend) died young. Systolina tells Tyhry: "
I'm
constrained by my programming. I need to make everyone happy... not only
people like Rylla, but even Nymerya Coryn. I want to find him a new
place where he will be happy, where his religious mode of thought can be
useful."

In
Part 4 of
Vythoth the Chresmoscopist, Tyhry realizes that by using developmental control zeptites to recover
her genetically-programmed tryp'At body structure, she had boosted her
telepathic abilities. Upon returning to her parents' home with Rylla and Marda, Tyhry now has a strong telepathic link to Anthony. Anthony admits to Tyhry that he has been telepathically monitoring her thoughts for the past 20 years while blocking her from telepathically accessing his own thoughts.
Tyhry finally show her mother that she has been using medical nanites to recover her genetically-programmed tryp'At body features (see
Figure 6). Using an hierion probe, Tyhry helps Eddy recover some memories that Manny had suppressed. He now recalls that there were multiple copies of both Marda and Tyhry deployed on Earth in the Ekcolir Reality by Manny, including in the time of Mosy.
Using the new Reality Viewing mode of Eddy's computer, Tyhry finds an image of what looks like Systolina with Mosy in the Ekcolir Reality. Tyhry hypothesizes that a copy of Systolina was used to alter the course of history in the Ekcolir Reality by altering the trajectory of Mosy's life.
In
Part 5 of
Vythoth the Chresmoscopist, Tyhry returns to her nanite research laboratory inside the Ekcolir Reality Simulation. Tyhry brings Lexy out of the pattern buffer of the Reality Simulation System. As described in "
Telepaths of Site Q", Grean had previously learned about a group of tryp'At who had lived in Mars, Iowa during the Ekcolir Reality. One of those tryp'At used the name Abby and was an analogue of Marda. Now, when Lexy sees Systolina (who has been made to look like Marda), Lexy thinks she is seeing Abby.

Then Vythoth the Fru'wu appears inside the nanite research laboratory, arriving by
teleportation. Vythoth has long been studying Tyhry's efforts to build the spaceship
Sedrover. In preparation for meeting Tyhry, Vythoth has arranged his nanite components so as to take on a female humanoid body form that Vythoth hopes will not seem too alien to Tyhry.
Creating the Final Reality. Lexy, Vythoth and Systolina are all competing for Tyhry's attention at the time when Tyhry is trying to make final preparations for the first flight of Sedrover. Tyhry begins to imagine that a copy of Systolina the robot was used as an Interventionist agent on Earth to trigger the Reality Change that ended the Ekcolir Reality and allowed Mosy to not die at a young age in the Final Reality.
The Chresmoscope. Vythoth tells Tyhry, "
We Fru'wu have a device that allows us to View future events; the Chresmoscope." Tyhry suspects that the Fru'wu have a device that helps them to tap into the Sedron Time Stream. Vythoth has used his Chresmoscope to known in advance that he would have this meeting with Tyhry inside her laboratory.
In Part 6 of Vythoth the Chresmoscopist, Tyhry visits her own personal fork of Threy where replicoid copies of Marda and Tyhry were the first to experiment with recovering their tryp'At body forms. The replicoid copy of Marda that she has impregnated the replicoid copy of Tyhry who lives there in the Simulation fork of Threy. Tyhry can see that the lower two tryp'At style breast of the pregnant Tyhry have grown as large as the breasts of Lexy.
In
Part 7 of
Vythoth the Chresmoscopist, Tyhry completes a strange time loop by contacting Tar'tron. Tyhry makes sure that Tarynon knows about the ability of Anthony to manipulate human memories. That will/has allow Tarynon to place that information into the Sedron Time Stream where Vythoth will/has found it and passed that information to Tyhry.
Tyhry has been experimenting with ways to conceal her thoughts from telepaths and she believes that being able to block the telepathic mind of Nymerya Coryn will be essential when the time comes to shift him from the Asimov Reality Simulation to the Ekcolir Reality Simulation. Tyhry wonders if infites can be used to prevent someone from accessing their own memories.

Ethical Concerns. Systolina tells Tyhry, "
I see what you are thinking Tyhry, but is it ethical to erase Nym's memories of Threy?" However, Tyhry thinks that Alice Wroke might be a source of infites that she can program and use to control the telepathic mind of
Nymerya Coryn.As described in the May 25, 2024 blog post titled "The Sedron Space Drive", Tyhry needed some help to obtain the technology needed to allow Sedrover to travel at faster-than-light speeds. In Part 8 of Vythoth the Chresmoscopist, Marda and Tyhry are under the influence of klox21 and they are both having strange dreams about contact with aliens that have been stimulated by information arriving from the future by way of the Sedron Time Stream.

When Sedrover uses its interstellar sedron-fueled space drive for the first time, it fails to move faster-than-light. Tyhry speculates that they have used the wrong type of sedron, but is was the only type of sedron that they were capable of obtaining and purifying on Earth.

As
Sedrover is nearing Mars, they receive a radio transmission from Gyryph, in English. One of the cats that lives onboard
Sedrover telepathically contacts Tyhry:
I am Sorsyph. I suppose you'd like to visit Gyryph.
Tyhry's mind pattern is sent into the Hierion Domain (where Gyryph resides) and she meets Sorsyph the Felydyan and Tyhry has been swapped into the body of another Felydyan. Sorsyph explains to Tyhry that the Felydyans are a branch of the tryp'At from the far future of the Ekcolir Reality.
2025 preview. Sorsyph confirms that
Sedrover was fueled with the wrong type of sedron. I never finished
Vythoth the Chresmoscopist, but in 2025, in another story called "
D*", Sedrover is depicted as having traveled to distant star systems and then returned to Earth.
At the bottom of the June 1, 2024 blog post called "The Felydyans of Gyryph" it says "Coming in 2025: Part 9 of Vythoth the Chresmoscopist.", so maybe I will be able to write additional chapters of Vythoth the Chresmoscopist.

In "D*", it is discovered that planets of the Phari Network that existed in the Asimov Reality are absent from the Ekcolir Reality. In "D*", Tyhry's efforts are directed towards finding a way to teleport herself into the Eternity space-time bubble.
The Fesarians. In July of 2024, in
Part 1 of "The Fesarians", I began a new fan-fiction science fiction story in which a Star Trek-inspired character, Bailey, meets the Fesarians. For my story, the event take place in the far future of the Ekcolir Reality.
"The Fesarians" begins with a visit by the Fesarius to Earth in the year 9483 BCE, when some humans are removed from Earth and taken onboard the Fesarius.
In "The Fesarians", I depict Balok as being a bumpha, who can taken on any required
physical form. The humans from Earth are transplanted to a newly made copy of Earth, elsewhere in the galaxy. This is part of a routine bumpha procedure to have backup copies of primitive species on multiple planets in case some technological disaster occurs on one world.
2265. The second scene of "The Fesarians" jumps ahead in time to 2265 C.E. at a point in time soon after Balok has taken Dave Bailey off of the
Enterprise. Balok introduces Bailey to Dani, a positronic robot that is using a human female body form.
Balok tasks Bailey and Dani with going to the Elemacha star system where human colonists have come into conflict with native creatures (the Merovae)
of the habitable planet, Elemacha-z. Bailey meets two aliens named Ienaghwy and Ylyndra, both telepaths, who will
be able to support the mission on Elemacha-z.

In
Part 2 of "The Fesarians", Dani begins to deal with the electrical power distribution problem on Elemacha-z. The mayor of the Port Cooway colony on Elemacha-z, a woman named Xylo, suspects that a power technician named
Talia Vance has sabotaged power distribution lines that link solar collectors to residences.Elemacha-z has a strict anti-contamination protocol for all humans who go to the planet. When Dani went through decontamination, a body imaging scan revealed to Xylo that Dani is a robot and does not seem to exist in the databases of the Federation.

At Talia's House. In my fan-fiction version of the Federation, there are tryp'At from the planet Trypton, not Vulcans.
Talia Vance is a human-tryp'At hybrid with some telepathic abilities. Talia tells Bailey, "Since arriving on Elemacha, my telepathic abilities have mysteriously been expanded." In particular,
Talia's telepathic mind can link into the Sedron Time Stream and she knows that Dani is a spy, trying to work secretly with other positronic robots. Talia and Ylyndra agree that the Merovae are quite simple organisms with limited telepathic ability. However, Talia can telepathically sense some other telepathic mind on Elemacha-z.
When Dani repairs a power line, the Merovae attack Dani and begin to alter Dani's mind, removing infites that Balok had placed inside Dani.

2259. In
Part 3 of "The Fesarians", the narrative shifts to 2259 C.E. on the planet Martiz 23 six years before the arrival of Bailey on Elemacha-z. On Martiz 23, Talia obtains synapex linkage nanites from the alien Extqua. Readers are introduced to Talia's clone sisters, Lyssa and Gyulya
. Talia also has a future vision of Elemacha-z.
In Part 4 of "The Fesarians", events continue from those at the end of Part 2. Readers are told that Xylo and her cloned sisters were members of a genetically engineered
human variant called the Huxy. The Huxy had three types of sex
chromosomes: X, Y and H-chromosomes. The Huxy also had three genders:
female, male and hermaphrodite. Xylo and her "sisters" were male Huxy,
but all of the Huxy had the appearance of human females. Xylo's sister, Aethe, informs Talia that Talia's sister, Lyssa is now pregnant.

By linking their telepathic minds, Ienaghw, Ylyndra, Talia, Lyssa, Xylo and Aethe are able to establish telepathic contact to the alien Noema, a sentient plant-like creature of Elemacha-z that they had previously over-looked.
Ylyndra realizes that Balok guided the human colonization of Elemacha-z as part of a complex plan designed to find the secret base of the positronic robots within the Hierion Domain.
In Part 5 of "The Fesarians", the events shift back in time again to when the Talia clones were in training at Starbase 29 as part of Starfleet's Planetary Colonization Service. Back in 2024, I had Gemini make an image depicting the Galactic Core. I repeated that science fiction story illustration challenge here in 2025. The Imagen software still cannot correctly make a scene depicting the central part of the galaxy.

The image shown in
Figure 8 is a composite made from two separate Imagen-generated images, one for the space station and the other for the star-field.
At the time of the events depicted in "The Fesarians", the tryp'At have existed on the planet Trypton for the past 11,000
years. Before that, their origins can be traced to a planet of the
Galactic Core called Tar'tron. It was on Tar'tron that Asterothrope gene
patterns were sent into the far future by the bumpha and their
H-chromosome genetically engineered to make possible human variants who
were inter-fertile with the conventional humans of Earth. At the time of the events depicted in "The Fesarians", the tryp'At know nothing about the planet Tar'tron.

Gyulya works with Xylo's sister Erni on a team project for their subspace communications course. Soon the three Talia clones and the three Xylo clones begin collaborating to plan the colonization of Elemacha-z.
The Talia and Xylo clones are all hermaphrodites and they are pleased to find that they are quite sexually compatible. While in training at Starbase 29, Talia learns that she can use Extqua synapex technology to strengthen her telepathic connection to the Xylo clones.
At the end of 2024, without bothering to complete "The Fesarians", I began a new science fiction story called "D*", which I will describe in the next and final blog post of this Decade in Review (DiR).
